Locking her phone, Jen stepped off the train taking in the aroma of Central City. Needless to say, she definitely missed the place – it just had a different feel compared to Starling.

Walking towards the closest taxi, she quickly said 'Star Labs' and soon enough the car had started.

'Do I even want to be here?'

'Is this the right thing to do?'

Jen kept on asking herself these types of questions as the taxi pulled into the parking of Star Labs, thanking and paying the driver she got out and stood in front of the entrance.

Giving herself a few words of wisdom, she confidently walked towards the entrance opening the door and instantly hearing the chatter of her central city friends (well some of them).

"You're joking right Barry? Jen's gonna be here anytime soon and you're gonna say that? You're crazy." Jen immediately recognized the angry female voice belonging to the one and only Dr Snow followed by the slight swearing of the long haired Cisco.

"What else do I say? Sorry?" Jen's heart stopped, she was actually doing this, it was an accomplishment not talking to Barry and now she was basically going to let all her walls down for five minutes – this means either breaking her entirely or letting him in too much.

Knocking on the wall of the office, she smiled as all three heads turned towards the artist. "Jen!"

Caitlin ran towards her friend embracing her in a very tight hug before saying goodbye and walking out.

Cisco followed giving her a few words of encouragement and techniques on ways to slap Barry.

Jen stood there walking closer and closer to Barry as his breathing hitched at the sight of the girl that had blocked him from her life for the past three weeks.

    "You've got 5 minutes Allen."

All Barry could do was stare, at the beautiful human being in front of him, no words could describe how he was feeling, she was actually here.

The girl he had grown to love and care about, was letting him back in – and he was doing nothing to let that happen.

Four minutes had passed and Barry had yet to say anything, was Jen disappointed? Yes, most defiantly was, she took a last minute train to Central to just talk to him and he didn't have the decency to say anything.

Grabbing her bag she sighed, looking up to Barry with tear filled eyes. Patting his back, she turned around stopping before saying,

"I thought you were better than that Allen."

Walking out Jen wiped the stray tear that had fallen but was soon met with the face of the Barry Allen once again.

"I'm sorry, for everything. I hurt you and I hurt you bad, I may not know why but I'm willing to listen for hours about your life."

Shaking her head she quickly disregarding the offer walking away until Barry grabbed her arm bringing her closer.

"Jenevieve Marie Gillins listen to me."

Jen couldn't help but look right into his eyes; she could tell that he was determined, but what about?

"I think, I think..." Barry stopped, was he going to say it? The words he had been thinking about for the past month?

Was he going to finally say what he had felt the minute she texted him? Was Barry Allen going to finally admit his feelings?

"I think... I need my friend back." Barry awaited Jen's answer as he mentally cursed himself as he had come up with the most stupidest alternative in the world – he had freaking used the word FRIEND.

"Was that it? You need me back? Why? So I can be your little pawn in your game of chess? I'm not stupid Barry; this was a waste of time..."

Before she could process anything, Barry had turned her around smashing his lips against hers.

Jen couldn't comprehend what was happening, Barry Allen's lips were up against hers and it felt more wrong than anything she had ever done in her life.

But she couldn't help but kiss back.

She knew, that Vin liked her and she knew that she liked him too. But she had always admired Barry, maybe it was the kindness in his heart and how he had always been there for her in a flash or how he had fought for her and no one had ever done that for her

Pulling away she looked up to Barry who had a large grin on his face, he did not only just kiss her but she had kissed back.

Before he could say anything Jen had face palmed quickly remembering Vin.

"Shit!" Barry looked at her confused before trying to calm her down but her frantic movements were to quick, even for him.

"Holy shit! I just messed up, oh my fucking god." This went on for a couple of minutes before she stopped all of a sudden looking up at Barry.

"Barry. You're a great guy but, but I..." A tear slipped out of his eyes as he felt like déjà vu was happening. "But you like Vin?"

Shrugging she quickly responded, "I mean y- I don't know. He's great, like really great but I don't know."

    "What's stopping you?"

    "You."

Barry was in shock, he was the reason behind her confused feelings? "What do you mean I'm stopping you?"

Grabbing a hold of his hands she looked up once again into his never ending eyes saying, "I think, that I like you, I don't know why but I think I like you a bit more than Vin."

Sighing he let go of her hands rubbing his eyes taking in what she had said. He had finally got the girl, but somehow, it didn't feel right.

"You don't like me Jen. Everyone I love gets hurt alright, and I'm pretty damn sure I don't want you gone. Go talk to Vin, tell him how much you love him, that you can't see a life without him. He's the guy you want, not me."

Jen walked closer angry, confused, they had both basically confessed their feelings and he was just going throw it away. "What if I don't want that?"

"You do okay, he's the perfect guy remember?" Placing a kiss on her cheek, he walked away leaving her standing there in a daze.

Barry Allen had finally got the girl and he let go.
