My journey was new to me.as i entered the bus i knew my life would change.
I studied every road.afterall,i will be travelling throu and fro for the next four years.
I let out the deepest sigh ever,Fareeda was actually being a good company.
Asking me question here and there.she said she went to gombe to attend a friend's elder sister's wedding.
"So,you seem new to this journey"Fareeda said studying me
"Yes,actually.i have never travelled far away like this"i replied faking a smile
"So,what's taking you there?"Fareeda asked curiously
"I am going to school.i got admission into abuja nursing school"i said trying not to say too much
"Thats nice"she said excitedly
"Where are you going to stay before then?"she asked thoughtfully.
Then it occured to me.i dont actually know where.....i could call up my school teacher though but i dont even have the phone.
"I am not being a good samaritan or anything and i wont force you to tell me things but i could help you stay in my house"she spoke again
"Noo"i replied shaking my head
"Why?its big enough and you seemed like the perfect daughter my mother would like to have since im not one"she said softly
"Think it through.i dont know maybe Allah is using me to help you"she added
I looked at her and she smiled .a genuine one,her dimples looking so deep.
