I guess leaving the cookies unattended was a horrible idea. Soon after Allison dashed to them to investigate whether the house burning down or not. The house was okay, but the cookies weren't, oh poor cookies! They looked like little pieces of coal and Allison was looking at them as if she had lost her child. I completely understand her, and let's be honest if we didn't have a couple more trays ready and prepared, I'd eat the charred ones - a cookie is still a cookie. "Allison, calm down! It's just a cookie." I reassured her, because she looked really depressed at that moment - don't get me wrong, I was too, but we had more cookies to bake, so that's a bright side right there, right?

"You don't understand! These were my children! They didn't grow old enough to go to college in my stomach!" She replied desperately, sounding somewhat serious. Let's be honest she was being overly dramatic, I snickered at her drama queen persona and put in another tray in the oven - hoping we wouldn't burn the cookies this time, pretty sure Allison would cry, if we did. We made a huge mistake by not setting a timer on the oven - which was a God damn option! I mentally facepalmed myself as soon as I had realized it, then programmed the oven to turn off twenty minutes later. They should be done baking by then, right?

It was only now that I realized we had left Nathan without a word and decided to go up to see him again, Allison was leaning on the kitchen counter holding her stomach with a sick look on her face - was she actually pregnant? "I'm going to go upstairs and see Nathan, you coming?" I offered her, she was staring at the wall behind me before she turned to me.

"Nah, I need to recollect my feelings right now." She replied, didn't exactly know what that meant but I let her slide and walked to the staircase. As I was walking up the staircase, which steps were really wide, I guess that's good for Nathan since he would have to use crutches for the longest time to actually move, instead of being an immobile penguin. Ha ha, penguins.. I swear to God, the least funny things make me laugh, but you can't say penguins aren't funny the way they wobble around like they own the damn place. I only then realized how idiotic that must've sounded, but I shrugged it off and reached the end of the staircase.

Suddenly, I felt really self-conscious as I rounded the corner to Nathan's room, I was still practically drowning in his shirt, because it was that big on me. My hair was a mess - not like it usually wasn't, but I couldn't help but feel a tad bit more self-conscious when I was around the male Lewis sibling. As soon as I feel his presence beside me, my pulse goes haywire - I turn more alert and confused than I usually am. Maybe it's that crush that was loosely based on lust, but I couldn't help but feel that something more was blooming inside of me, and I'm not sure if I liked it. I got passed the thoughts in my head and entered the room, this time alone since Allison decided to 'recollect her feelings' or something along those lines. The boy - okay, let's be honest, man looked at me, confusion apparent in his face as his brows were furrowed beyond belief. "Everything okay, where's Ally?" He asked.
