Welcome to Dark City. I wrote this in my mid-twenties and have recently decided to revisit it and update every Friday and Saturday. It's a dark thriller taking place in the suburban areas surrounding Asbury Park. As I was writing this book, I conducted interviews with locals and law enforcement there. This story incorporates real legends shared in Asbury Park, as well as the opioids epidemic plaguing its people. I was obsessed with Muse as I wrote this, so I will include a song by them with every chapter. I hope you enjoy this strange and winding journey into the mind of Nathan Stone, our story's protagonist.
