The world is dark and I am cold
I am crying, hot salty tears
Hurting but not hurt, breaking but not broken.
They say time heals all wounds
But my heart has hurt for too long
A festering wound stretching like a spring
Until the fever snaps back at you.
Time will only get heavier by the hour
and when your heart is heavy,
when your heart is leaking
do you realize that
time doesn't heal all wounds.
It only infects you
lulling you into a sense of safety.
Its been months
