I woke up in a hospital.

Again.

A different one.

Mom was there along with several nurses.

"They found her fainted at the bus stop," one of the nurses said quietly.

Ah, right.

After you left, Jimin, I'd fainted.

The fatigue, the heat, the nausea.

"Thank you so much for helping her," my mom practically wept.

"Yes, well, a lady found your daughter half dead. She called 9-1-1."

I tried to shift in bed, but a stabbing pain like never before shot up my stomach. I gave a small cry of pain.

Instantly, the nurses and my mom swarmed me.

"Honey, honey?" My mom clasped her hands tightly over mine. "Oh sweetie, are you okay? Is she okay?" The latter question was directed to the nurses who were busy adjusting my tubes and drip.

"Please calm down, ma'am," one of the nurses gently patted my mom's shoulder.

"She'll be okay for now. And as soon as we can, we'll get her to your home hospital," another nurse assured my mom.

"How could you be so stupid," my mom yelled at me, crying. "You could've died! Why did you leave?"

"Ma'am, we're going to have to ask you to step out if you can't control yourself," a nurse said.

I closed my eyes.

I was stupid.

I am stupid.
