Keith has a secret. He didn't know for how long, but he had had a crush on Lance. He had planned to confess to Lance, but when Lance got turned into a toddler, he figured that it wouldn't be the right time until he turned back. He was also surprised to see how many things he didn't know about the blue paladin. I mean, sure, Lance chose not to tell them and it's understandable since it was private info.
"Hey Keith, when do you plan to tell Lance what you think about him?" Shiro asked Keith out of the blue
"W-what? What do you mean?" Keith asked, face as red as his lion.
"It's kinda obvious Keith," Shiro said
"Oh um...ok. I was thinking when he's back to his...regular age," Keith stuttered, still blushing.
"Good idea," Shiro responded
"But there is a chance that he doesn't like me back anyway, last I checked, I'm pretty sure he's straight," Keith said
"Maybe we'll be surprised. Anyway, remember, I'm here to help if you ever need it, k little bro?" Shiro said, ruffling Keith's hair. Keith smiled
"Ok, thanks"
