Steal A Glance

I took a chance,
And stole a glance,
At the girl with cut glass,
In her eyes,

She caught my stare,
And responded with a glare,

I didn't have to see,
Her frost kissed lips,
Move,

To want to melt,
The chill her voice expelled,
As if she breathes,
Not air,
But winter itself,

I stole another glance,
She returned with another glare,
Leaving me too scared,
To care,

About the consequences,
Of my actions,
As I walked over,
And said hello,

She smiled and oh how divine it was,
An angel with coal on her teeth,
Not quite clean,
But just perfect for me,

I took a chance,
And stole a glance,
At the girl with cut glass,
In her eyes,

And damn,
Did she teach me,
How divine life can be,
If you just take a chance,
And steal a glance,
At girls with cut glass,
In their eyes.
