This is a strange one. Homicidal Liu or Sully can actually get into other people's dreams or nightmares if he and the other person are both sleeping at the same time. It's more than likely that Slender Man himself gave Liu this ability.
But seeing him in a dream isn't usually a good thing since he unintentionally messes things up, so this ability quite often gets on other Creepypastas nerves.
