Author's Note

Remember Me is a work in progress for the 2020 Open Novella Contest using prompt 30: 

You make your living by copying other memories and selling them to people who want to remember things they've never done.

Story Description:

A poor farmer enlists the help of a memory snatcher to discover the truth about his sister's suspicious death.

Upper-Caldozzans have access to everything: endless food, drink, wealth, even memories of things their overindulged bodies could never achieve. Lower-Caldozza's creators feed themselves and their families by selling their experience to the elite through memory snatchers. When a prolific creator, Messita, dies suspiciously, her brother, Runan a poor farmer with a grudge against the memory selling business, enlists the help of a childhood friend, now memory snatcher, Solara, to discover the truth about Messita's suspicious death.

Note: 

I've always loved reading mystery-thrillers and am very excited to step outside my usual genres and write one. My work is always open to constructive criticism. I'll be doing my best to share the love and support anyone who supports this story with comments.
