Kageyama POV
I held his hand and we walked on the platform.

He wasn't holding my hand because he was afraid of getting lost, and I wasn't holding his hand because I was afraid of losing him.

I wanted to hold his hand.
He wanted to hold mine.

He didn't seem to notice all of the attention we were getting, after all two guys holding hands isn't something many people approve of.

He smiled and looked ahead of him, only focused on where he was going and what he was doing.

Right outside the train station was a small alley, that everyone had to get passed before coming to the main city.

He squeezed my hand even tighter when we entered it, obviously noticing the change in mood.

It reminded me of his side of town.

I looked at the people around us.

Old people
School kid
Maybe even a couple of hoods.

Of course I especially felt uneasy here.
I continued to hold Hinatas hand, when I heard a sudden,

'faggot!'

I turned around angrily to see who said it.

No one to my left.
No one to my right.

I gritted my teeth and looked over to Hinata to see how he'd reacted.

He didn't
He couldn't hear it.
Thank god.

I try my best to ignore it, but I guess Hinata noticed my distress.

He looked at me and mouthed, 'are you okay?'

He gestured to his hand which I was squeezing rather tightly.

"Y...yeah..." I stuttered.

Hinatas eyes lit up as soon as he saw the city.
It was quite empty, but since it was on the darker side it looked pretty cool.

As we walked around trying to find a place to eat, I admired him admiring the city.

He looked so in awe of something so common.
It was adorable.

Eventually we ended up at a cafe not far from the station.

We let go of each other's hands and sat opposite one another.

He smiled largely at me and I used all of my strength to not turn red.

The place we were in was small and cute, it was a typical cafe with indoor plants and it smelled like coffee.

I felt myself clam up when I fully realised what I was doing.

I was on a date!
With Hinata!

I've never been on a date before.
What do I do?

"So, Hinata..." I started, just trying to make conversation.

I was so panicked that I forgot he couldn't hear me.

I touched his hand to get his attention.

When he looked at me however, my mind went completely blank.

From where we were sitting, the sun was right in his face, and his hazel eyes sparkled when they met with the sun.

I was so mesmerised that I forgot to let go of his hand.

He giggled me, but he was too pretty to look away from.

I quickly pulled my hand away when the waiter came to give us menus.
