The Supreme Leader and North gave a rousing speech to the military after, most of which used words too complicated for Y/N to understand, beyond a basic 'We're strong, we'll crush our enemies,' message. The people seemed to like it, though, cheering loudly in celebration.

Despite not understanding, Y/N decided to clap as enthusiastically as possible, adding her voice to the chorus. It couldn't hurt, especially if North Hamgyong was watching.

After the military had dispersed, Y/N got caught up in the flow of Party members taking to the streets, along with civilians heading to the other side of the Square. To her horror, she got swept away from her guards, getting lost in the crowds. It wasn't exactly a press, but for someone who hadn't been alone in a crowd for a very long time while fully awake, it was terrifying.

'I need to get back,' she thought in panic, struggling through the sea of people. 'Before they think I'm running away.' Images of the guns that the soldiers had been holding in the parade flashed through her mind, and she started to hyperventilate, losing track of where she had been going, just trying to get out.

Finally, the girl burst from the throng of bodies, running directly into someone who caught her as she stumbled, saving her from hitting the pavement.

"S-Sorry," she apologised shakily, looking up. "I-"

North was looking down at her, hands on her shoulders.

Y/N reeled back, stumbling again. "I'm so sorry," she rushed. "I wasn't trying to run away, I just got separated-"

North cut her off. "I know- I saw from the balcony."

"Please don't kill my guards," Y/N begged. "It wasn't their fault."

The country looked at her like she was on something. "I'm not going to kill them."

"Y-You're not?" she stuttered. Did that mean she could finally stop worrying about the taxi driver that she had met on her first day here?

"No. If I killed every soldier who messed up, I wouldn't have an army." He looked at her strangely. "Does America kill his soldiers?"

"No! I mean, uh, not to my knowledge..."

Saving her from the misunderstanding, her guards ran out of the throng.

"Sorry, sir," one apologised, bowing. "We lost her in the crowd."

"Make sure it doesn't happen again," North said coldly. "You are dismissed for the night. I have her now."

Hearing this, Y/N started desperately searching the crowd for SH, Hae, or even Chagang, as her guards bowed again, and left.

"Thank you for coming to get me," she said to North. "I'll just, uh, go find SH, now."

"South Hamgyong is helping set up the fireworks with South Hwanghae."

     "Um, South Pyongan?"

      "Supervising the Mass Games."

"North Pyongan?" Y/N was getting desperate.

"Helping Chagang with the military. And-" He interrupted, seeing her open her mouth again. "Before you ask- Hwang is reading to children, and Kangwon is taking down the flowers from the floats."

Y/N thought of gloomy Ryanggang and the outright hostile North Hamgyong, and resigned herself to her fate. She sighed.

"Sorry to disappoint you," North growled.
