A few days later

My mom unfortunately didn't let me stay home anymore. Which wasn't really a big deal because i already felt much better than before.

I dragged myself out of bed and got ready for another boring day.

I didn't go downstairs until my mom yelled that we were leaving.

I sighed and grabbed my bag before running downstairs. Jack was already sitting in backseat of the car with his phone. I still had no idea why a six year old needed a phone but it kept him quiet so i didn't argue.

I stepped in the front seat.

"Oh before i forget. Maddy is trowing me a birthday party tomorrow night so I'm not gonna be home when you and Jack and are
gone." I said to my mom as she drove out of the driveway.

"Did you ask Ashton?" She said.

"Why would i ask him?"

She looked at me with a strict face.

"Okay fine, I'll ask him." I said annoyed.

I wasn't really going to ask him,  i was just going to tell that i was leaving.

I knew that he would be home late today so i decided to just text him.

I'm going to Maddy tomorrow night. My mom wanted my to tell you that.

He left me on read.

I fucking hated it when people did that, like just don't read it if you're not planning on texting back.

I turned my phone off  before i entered my classroom.

"Wow, you're still alive." Maddy said with a big smile as i sat down next to her.

"Unfortunately." I said with a smile.

She grinned at me. She knew that i didn't mean it when i said shit like that.

Halfway trough the lesson someone knocked on the door. Everybody looked up as the guidance counselor entered the classroom.

"I'm sorry to disturb your lesson but may i borrow Becky for a second." He said with polite smile.

"Fuck me." I whispered as i packed up my stuff.

"Good luck." Maddy said trying to contain her laughter.

I flipped her off in response.

I followed the weird man down the hall to his small office. He was overweight and bald with only a few hairs on the side if his head.

He closed the door of his office as i sat down in the old wooden chair in front of his desk.

"So Becky, I'm happy that I'm finally able to talk to you. Your mother has called multiple times and i constantly have to tell her that you didn't show up. Care to explain that?" He said with a fake smile.

I rolled my eyes. "I forgot."

He nodded but i could tell that he didn't believe that.

"I first wanna talk to you about your grades and your attendance. Now i understand that there have been a lot of changes in your life these last few weeks. But that isn't an excuse to skip classes." He said strict.

I just nodded. If i just went alomg with his little rant then i would get to leave sooner.

"I want you to make an schedule in which you write when and how long you're going to do homework."

"Sure." I said with a fake smile as i accepted the shitty notebook.

"I want to see you next week in my office with an schedule." He said as he pointed his finger towards me.

I clenched my jaws as i gave him an thumbs up.

I left his office and waited outside the classroom where i was supposed to be. There wasn't really a point in going inside anymore so i just waited outside for Maddy to come out.

A couple of boys walked towards me as i was waiting in front of the classroom. They looked like they were juniors but they could easily be freshmans.

They were all looking at me with smirks on their faces.

"You got a staring problem?" I said to one of them.

"Not that i know." The tallest of them said.

I ignored him and went back on my phone.

He suddenly was standing infront of me. His friends were all huddled together a few feet away.

I smiled, he was probably dared to say some weird shit.

He put his hand on the wall and he leaned in front of me.

"You know that you're really pretty?" He said cocky.

"Well i do now." I said trying not to laugh at  him.

He slowly placed his hand on my cheek. "Do you think that i can get i kiss from you?"

Without any warning i kicked him in the balls.

He immediately fell to the ground.

I lifted him up the collar. "Not so tough now, are you?"

He started to cry.

"Becky!" A teacher yelled at me as she saw me holding the crying boy.

I quickly let him go. Fuck, i was definitely gonna get in trouble.

I was waiting in the principal's office as he was trying to contact my mother.

After a few mintues he hung up the phone and looked at me. "Your mom is not available right now so her boyfriend is coming to pick you up."

Fucking great, just awesome. Of course Ashton was coming to pick me up. Like disappointing my mother wasn't already enough.

After 15 minutes Ashton entered the room in his work clothing.

"Thank you for coming so soon." The principle said as he shook hands with Ashton.

"What exactly is the situation here?" He asked.

I could fell that he was looking at me but i didn't dare to look up. I kept my eyes clued to the ground.

"Well one of my teachers found her in the hallway while she was supposed to be in class."

"That's it?" Ashton said clearly annoyed that he had to here.

"No that's not the reason we have contacted you. Becky had kicked a boy in..uhm.. his private area and she would have beaten him up if miss Evanstons hadn't intervened."

"Really?" Ashton asked mainly towards me.

I ignored him.

"Unfortunately yes. Becky will get detention for 2 weeks and she will have to write an apology to the boy." The principle said as he handed me a piece of paper.

"Im sure that there was a good reason Becky did somthing like that." Ashton asked as he looked at me.

I stayed quiet. It was my word against that of a boy and his dumb friends that were protecting him.

"We need Becky to understand that violence is never the answer. And if this is a case about bullying than we can discuss that right now."

I looked up at the principle. "It was all my fault. He didn't do anything, i just couldn't control my anger."

"Then that is settled." He said as he clapped his hands.

The principle leaded us outside. "Again thank you for coming." He said with a smile as he shook Ashton's hand.

Ashton gave him a fake smile. "Of course."
