I woke Up earlier than usual and started to put on my new uniform.

It was a normal maid uniform, except that the fabric was lighter.

I looked at myself in the mirror and adjusted everything before going out the room to wake up Mistress.

"Milady?" I gently knocked on the door before coming in.
She already sat in bed, and read a book.

"You're late." Was all she said, never taking her eyes off the bookpages.

I bow slightly. "I'm sorry Milady, I was told that this was usually the time to wake you up.... please forgive me."

She looked at me and took off her reading glasses.

"Come here, my dear" she said, with an demanding voice.

Dear?! D-did she really call me 'dear' ...

I obeyed and stepped closer to her.

She reached her hand out and I was scared that she was about to hit me. Like a few other people probably would.

So i closed my eyes quickly Just waiting for the pain.

But instead of slapping me across the face, she reached out to my hair and gently touches it.

"You need to put that in a ponytail hairstyle or a bun, you can't wear open hair as a maid."

She reached out to her hairbrush and started brushing my hair carefully.

I couldn't help but blush slightly.
She was so gentle, how could I ever think that she would hit me?...

"You have very nice hair dear, very soft" was all she said and I blushed even more.

"T-thank you Milady..."

She continued to brush my hair and started to separate it.

I didn't know what to do.... wasn't I supposed to do her hair or something like that.
I'M the Maid after all NOT HER.

"Is Something wrong?"

I finally realised that she spoke to me this whole time. And I didn't listen.
My goodness She'll fire me on my first day.

"Mary?" She stopped brushing my hair, when i didn't gave an answer.

"N-no Milady, i'm sorry. I was Just a Bit confused.... isn't it my Job to...you know Help You around?" I looked down shyly.

"Well it certainly is, but you can't start working with open Hair, so i'll just do your Hair and then you can start whatever duty you have" She said as she started braiding my Hair.

"Yes, Milady..." Was all i said before blushing some more.
Of course there was not more behind it, it is the Hairstyle...

She continued braiding for about 10 minutes before finally putting the final hair tie in.

"There now. All finished."

"Thank you Milady, what will my first task be?"

Well its still morning and I want to eat something, so you could start doing breakfast With the other maids in the kitchen" she Smiles softly.

"Of course Milady, what would you Like to eat?"

"Suprise me~" was all she said before smirking and standig up.

Suprise me? Is that a Test? Should I search out food. Does she wants to find out If I have good taste.

What if she won't like it?!

I tryed to calm myself down and went in direction of the kitchen.

"I will suprise you Milady" I whisperd to myself...
