Chapter 6

After ordering the maids to arrange the room Chloe lie down on her bed...

She stared at the ceiling for a moment and waited for a while.

Then looked at her phone ,she stared at the screen for a while in daze.

In the screen a picture of a Handsome man wearing a black suit ,holding a glass of wine,he was tall and has very seductive face .He was frowning while looking at the camera and his expression shows his distaste to the one taking the picture.

"You didn't mean cheating on me right?"

Chloe ask whispering

"It hurts you know!"

She shouted

Flashbacks of that scene flash in her mind

It was alright when she was with Leo but now that she's alone she can't help but remember it

"We grew up together,but why do u treat me like this?"

Chloe complained but she didn't cry

She didn't feel like crying...

She felt tired for some reason

Looking blankly at the picture her phone lit up and the name ♥️MOM♥️ showed up on her screen.

{"Hey sweetie,are your home??"}

{"Ohh sorry sweetie mom went out shopping so I wasn't home when you arrived"}

{"I see...Mom can I ask u a question?"}

{"M-mom?"}

{"No...you can't! sweetie you know how important your engagement is to your father!"}

{"Sweetie listen to me okay, your not allowed to marry anyone but Sebastian!!"}

{"Sweetie this is for your own good.your father arranged this marriage for your sake.And besides don't you love him??"}

{"Yes ...I got it...I'm just asking"}

{"Okay bye sweetie I need to go do my nails"}

She hung up?

She must be busy.

After the call Chloe got up from her bed.

Walked to her closet and found a picture book

Flipping the pages over and over again a dried rose fell on the floor

she picked it up

She remembered this

that boy that gave her Red roses.

Her first gift.

Remembering this Chloe started whispering

"Yes, he's the only one I love.He cares for me"
"I love him"
"He said I'm his only bride"
"He promised!!!"
"Right!that bitch must have seduced him!"

Excited  she searched for Sebastians number and called many times until ...he picked up

{"Hey that bitch seduced you right?"}

{"It's okay I understand,I still love you"

{"Bitch??Don't u dare call her that!!}

{"Ehh??I'm your fiancee Sebastian!!"}

{"Ha! Fiancee?I never acknowledged you!She's my girlfriend"}

{"Shut up don't call me ever again"}

..."AGH!!!"
Rage blinded Chloe and she throw her phone.

Leo who was signing documents was startled by the alarm

he looked at the system and sighed

He took out his cellphone and dialed Chloe's number..

Meanwhile Chloe's rampage lasted long Ang maids who came to stop her were frightened

"HOW DARE THAT BITCH TAKE WHATS MINE!!"

She shouted and proceeded to destroy her mirror

This goes on for a while untill a phone rang.

Chloe tried to ignored it but it didn't stop so she picked it up without looking at the caller and answered ,she was about to scold the caller but she heard a familiar calm cheerful greeting

{"Hey Chloe ,Sorry for calling .Did I disturb u?"}

{"Uh..N-No" }
Chloe responded in daze.

{"Uhh good...I saw your message on WeChat a while ago.I called to ask if your okay."}

{"Ehh?"}

{"Chloe,Are you alright ?"}

{"...ahh y-yes I'm alright"}

{"Ohh thank goodness,I was worried if you didn't arrive safely"}

{"Ahh I see"}

{"Well since your alright I'm hanging up "}

{"...Okay"}

{"Chloe,call me everytime your not alright. I'll answer it when u need me."}

{"...ok"}

{"Bye, take care"}

Chloe looked at her phone for a while and looked around her room.

Everything was a mess.

Looking at this she suddenly felt embarrassed and apologized to the maids that came. She bowed her head at them which shocked the maids who were watching.

In the end the maids tried to understand the young lady and helped her clean her room

Later after the cleaning Chloe thanked the maids and apologized for the trouble

Lying back to her room she stared at the ceiling

The words Leo said on the call repeated in her head

No one's ever asked her if she was okay..
