first off, this isnt to roast anyone that makes threads like these, but id like an explanation if you do
so hey guys lol
so i was, as normal, going through the mdc pages, and see like 5 "want a pro cover?""pro covers here!!" "one of a kind pro cover shop!!!!!" kind of things
and it got me wondering
if you were a professional cover maker, why would you advertise your 'business' on a site where you cant really get money as payment?
professional; (of a person) engaged in a specified activity as one's main paid occupation rather than as a pastime.
most of the designers on wattpad do design for a pasttime, or hobby. no one makes money off of wattpad (generally), so i dont see how there are so many so called 'pro' cover shops
do these people only put the word 'professional' to get more requesters? to show them your 'skills'?
and whats even funnier is that you go into these 'pro' threads, and the covers are either really not sophisticated looking (as most pro covers are, ie. in a book store) or they look exactly like the covers that everyone else makes
can i just make a cover, without earning money or having a salary or actual clients, and call myself a professional?
i mean, if you want to sell yourself as a professional, thats cool with me
i just dont understand
like i dont see your covers that are posted on your IMGUR account on the front of books on a shelf at barnes and noble??????????
i dont see you working for a company or representing a company when you have a form asking for a password???????????
pls explain how you can claim youre a professional, but you accept usernames as the author
now i couldnt care less if someone does this, but id really like the logic around it
on another note, im moving on july 1st and sigh
how are you guys doing? id love to hear about the first world problems that everyone has (including my own lol)
i know i havent posted in literally 8 years but im on summer break so ill probs post more and more lol
peace out
