Chapter 10

Slendermans p.o.v

I left Y/n in her room and I walked back downstairs and looked at everyone, before a few of them stood up

"Boss what's the deal with that human?" I sighed

"She's staying here now, that's it" Ben looked at me

"Yeah but why?"

"Reasons Ben, just trust me" Masky shook his head

"I still don't trust this" He stood up with a knife in his hand "You have never kept a human here before. Let me kill her" I growled

"Masky sit down now" He pointed his knife towards me

"No boss, I am here to protect you so let me kill that human"

"Masky she would not be here if she was a threat, and I would dispose of her myself if I had to" I crossed my arms then the room went silent and everyone was looking behind me, which made me nervous. I looked behind me and Y/n was standing there, a nervous and frightened look on her face

"Y-you are going to kill me aren't you?"

"No my dear I was just-" Before I could answer she ran past me and went outside "No Y/n wait!" I heard a few snickers come from behind me

"Good job boss"

"Yeah, now she's going to die and we didn't even get the chance to kill her" I growled an threw them all against the wall

"This is your fault and when she comes back you are going to apologise" Jeff growled

"Hell no, I'm not apologising"

"Yes you are"

"Or what old man?" I growled and wrapped a tendril around his neck and brought him closer

"You do not want to know" I dropped him then ran out the doors looking for Y/n

Readers p.o.v

I ran into the woods but didn't go very far as I didn't want to get too lost. I knew that Slender wouldn't kill me, it just scared me at the time, which made me feel bad. I walked around and just looked at the trees then saw something glisten in the distance, and I walked towards it.

I soon came across a large lake, which sparkled in the light like a crystal. I looked at it in the surprise, it was like a hidden gem within a dark cave. I walked to it and sat next to its edge, gently rippling my fingers through its silky water.

I smiled for a moment then looked at my reflection and sighed. My dream job had ended up being my worst nightmare. I would never be able to go home, never see my friends or family, or I would end up dead. At the mansion I could also get killed, but at least I had Slenderman to protect me.

My eyes began to water as I thought of all the things that I was losing, all the things I would never see again, and my tears fell into the lake, as gentle sobs escaped my throat. I closed my eyes and covered my face with my hands, crying into them.

Slendermans p.o.v

I walked around the woods looking for her, but quietly. I didn't want to scare her even more by shouting her name, so I just listened out and looked out for her. I was worried about her. I wanted to make sure that she was okay. I felt bad, I didn't want her to think that I would harm her. She was my human.

I then started to walk towards the lake, and that's when I heard soft sobs coming from it, and I instantly knew it was Y/n. I walked faster towards it then saw Y/n and sighed with relief, whilst I slowly walked to her and placed one of my hands gently on her shoulder. She jumped slightly and looked at me and I stroked her cheek

"Y/n don't cry, I didn't mean what I said I wont ever harm you" She wiped her eyes then smiled

"D-don't worry I know you wont"

"You do?" She nodded and that made me happy but then confused "Then what were you crying about?"

"I...just.." She looked down "Don't get me wrong...I'm happy that I met you but I just miss my old life...its a big change and I didn't even have a chance to tell everything good bye" I looked at her then pulled her into a hug and she hugged back

"Don't worry my dear I understand. Everyone of my killers have been through this, you will get used to it I promise" She nodded "And if it will make you feel better, we can go to your house and collect a few of your things" She looked at me and nodded then smiled

"Y-yes please, thank you Slender" I nodded then placed a gentle 'kiss' against her head

"Anything for you, my dear human"
