It was finally time to go as Maurice had tuckered himself out while Amelia also went home with someone.

The young 10-year-old had gotten on Leo's back this time while Suzen carried Blast by his scruff and began leading the way once more *so pup did you have fun today?* Leo huffed his tail wagging happily as the young male clung to his fur "mhm, I had a lot of fun..." Maurice said softly causing Lunar's tail to wag happily.
*I'm so glad you had fun today pup, now don't go to sleep just yet alright? There's one more surprise waiting for you, birthday boy,* Leo huffed happily while trotting a little waking up Maurice a bit.

"What is it?" Maurice asked *you're just gonna have to wait and see,* Leo barked happily as he hopped a little causing the small 10-year-old to giggle.

*Now, Leo. You need to calm down before you end up spoiling the surprise,* Suzen huffed before stopping for a second to readjust her hold on Blast Scruff then continued on carrying him as she walked.

*I'm sorry,* Leo whined before moving faster to walk by his mate's side *apology accepted,* Suzen's tail wagged softly.

Lunar smiled and then licked Suzen's cheek as the four continued on with their journey together so they could completely celebrate Maurice's birthday properly and not in the woods for once as their tails wagged with joy.

A few years later

A now 16-year-old Blue hedgehog had woken up as he stretched his arms out above his head while yawning until he felt a cold wet nose press into his cheek causing him to grumble as his yawn was cut short.

*Morning Pup!!* A big wolf barked with joy as he bounced around when the teen's emerald-colored eyes glanced over sighing softly.

"Mornin' Lunar," he says before getting out of bed as the bubbly wolf happily followed him out of his room, the two headed downstairs where they met Suzen who was trying to get Blast to wake up, though the lazy wolf seemed to be deep in dreamland.
Until Leo trotted over to his son then began to playfully bite and pull at his ear which woke up the young pup, who had grown over the years instantly as he whimpered.

This earned a laugh from the blue male when a man came out of the kitchen area he had light blue quills with a bushy white mustache and eyebrows "what's got you laughing this early morning sunny my boy," he says earning the teen's attention as he smiled.

"Hey, Unc. And nothin' much just watching Blast get woken up by Lunar again," the teen stated as he went over to the elder man giving him a half hug.

"Agian?" he stated "yup agian," the teen says *It's not my fault my son has trouble getting up in the morning,* Leo barked while pouting up at the older man who chuckled "alright, alright I understand he's always trying to oversleep," he says when Suzen went over and pressed her muzzle against Leo's side.

WAIT! Quick knowledge fest right here. So you all don't end up getting confused later on. Charles cannot actually hear Suzen, Leo, or Blast talk. For its an ability that's been past down though the mothers genes. Or else he himself would have equally gotten a wolf as well.

So, the main reason why it seems like he can understand them is mainly due to body language and guessing or Maurice would just translate for him.

When Leo jumped a bit *Oh! I almost completely forgot!! Charles, Pup, cub, we have a very special announcement to make for the three of you!!! Oh, I've been waiting for so long now I can finally tell you before the surprise gets spoiled!!!* Leo howled while bouncing around happily.
