**I'm in tears as I finish this story. I have come such a long way since Knox's Girl with plot development and accurately tying up loose ends, character development and such. This story had come to be one of my favorites and putting it to rest is going to be very hard for me, but I am SO SO SO excited for what's to come in Scar on my Heart! I hope you all loved this story as much as I did. Thank you for supporting me along this journey. None of this would've been possible without your support! Side note - some of these wedding ideas I got from pinterest, credit to the people who originally came up with them!

UPDATE: I totally forgot to attach the picture of Aurora's wedding dress when I originally uploaded. Oops. Found this dress on pinterest as well! Credit to the original owner. \**

Aurora's POV

Five Months Later

Something old,

Something new,

Something borrowed,

Something blue...

"There! Now you have something blue." Nicci beamed before handing my heels back over to me. I smiled as I read all of their sweet comments they'd written on the soles of my shoes in blue sharpie. I loved the idea, which had come from Ellie at 3 a.m. a few weeks ago. She hasn't been sleeping much as she's about seven months pregnant and ready to pop. Looking at the four women in my dressing room, I felt so blessed to be surrounded with friends who care about me on my special day. I'd become so much closer to Ellie and Evan in the past five months as we've been texting and calling each other like crazy trying to make this wedding perfect.

Nicci and I hit it off instantly after Troy introduced us and we've been connected at the hip ever since - something that pisses Chad and Troy off as we usually ignore them when we're together. I remember how she cried when I asked her to be my maid of honor. I thought Gemma would be upset that I hadn't picked her for the role, but she understood completely as we haven't been spending much time together with both of our crazy schedules.

Poppy came rushing into the room with a huge smile on her face as she did an overview of my whole look before putting the finishing touches to my hair and makeup.

"You make the most beautiful bride." She blubbered before patting at the edges of her eyes with a handkerchief. I laughed at her before accepting her a tight hug. I took one last look at my shoes before slipping them on and examining myself in the mirror. I fiddled with the beautiful vintage earrings my real mother gave me that she said her and my grandmother wore to their own weddings back in the day. Something old. Our relationship was still pretty rocky, but we'd started talking after I broke the news of my engagement to her. Running my hands down the sides of my dress, I felt like I was falling in love with it all over again. It was an original piece crafted by Poppy's best friend, Kiara. Something new. I smiled as I thought back to the final fitting appointment where Poppy poked fun at her for starting college as a nursing major and ending it in fashion merchandising.
