I waved at the truck, after I had found out about the bet I needed to get away. Away from everything, away from the circumstances, away from the problems, and away from him.
I made my way inside my house and got ready to watch titanic and eat chocolates.

I scoffed at the messages. He said he loved me, yeah right. I bet this was all about the deal. The stupid deal. I can't believe he did that for me. Also if he really did care he wouldn't be in California, he would be here, at my doorsteps, apologizing.
I got distracted from my thought when I heard the doorbell ring.
