Ren Tachibana is a certified academic researcher and a graduate student earning her Masters in English Literature. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelors in English and a minor in U.S. History. Her novel, Bereft, won a Watty Award in 2016, and its sequel Demise won a 2017 Fiction Award for Fantasy. Ren is an experienced tutor and has written in all genres, though she favors stories with dark themes, tragic endings, and magical happenings.
When not researching her next novel, Ren enjoys drinking coffee and cluttering her office with far too much Slytherin memorabilia. She has designed several commissioned covers for Wattpad, assisted in the publication of a college literary magazine, and has been known to wake her friends at two in the morning with random factoids of Tolkien lore.
