It has been two weeks since my gender reveal and I was actually excited to have a girl. At first I didn't want a girl since I didn't want her to be like me, but I know now that she won't be like me and I will make sure of it.
"So, I guess we should start thinking of names" Malik said sitting next to me in the lunch room. He had left school to get me a meatball sub from Subway and I was so happy.
"I have been thinking. I like Mallory or Maleah" I said smiling once I took a bite of my sub.
"Not Mallory, but Maleah is cute. I been thinking about Arianna or Aubrey or Aubrianna"
"Aubrianna baby?"
"Yes and she can have many nicknames. Aubri or Anna or Bri"
"True True. I mean it has to grow on me, but it's okay. What else?"
"What else what?" Yasmine said sitting across from me.
"We thinking about names"
"Ooooo.. I like Yasmine" I rolled my eyes and took another bite of my sub.

"Well... we got three months to think about it" I mumbled through a full mouth. My phone vibrated and it was a text from Alonzo. He rarely ever texts me so I knew something was wrong. opened it and my mouth dropped open.
"What Jarie?" Yas asked.
"Alonzo just text me and asked if he could give my ma a promise ring. He asked me and Alizea because he wanted to know what we would say to it. He didn't want it to seem like he is moving to fast"

"I don't because all of us David children except Jaiden have names that start with A. I dont want her to have an A name"
"I like Brielle" Malik said kissing my cheek and getting up throwing my trash away.
