The next few days at the Burrow were amazing.
Me and George had been super flirty the last few days (more than usual) and he always secretly rubbed my thigh at the table or when we were under a blanket on the sofa.

This new George seemed even more confident than usual which doesn't seem possible yet it was happening right in front of my eyes.

It was their last day at the Burrow and tomorrow they would be getting the Hogwarts express back to school.

I was packing my bag with the last of my clothes when there was a knock on the window.

My room was at the very top of the Burrow so I swung my head around to see what was happening.

"Y/n, come to the window" came a muffled voice.

Walking over to the window, I threw back the curtains to be greeted by a smiling George on his broomstick.

"Merlins beard, what are you doing?" I giggled.

The latch was stiff but I managed to pull it across and open the window to talk to George.

"I wasn't bothered to walk up all those stairs"

I rolled my eyes at him and shook my head.

"Lazy twat"

"What did you say?" George gasped dramatically. "You'll regret that Wood"

"M-hm I'm sure I will" I said sarcastically.

He raised his eyebrows at me and looked at me for a few moments before his eyes darted downwards.

He leaned through the window, one arm supported on the window and the other on his broom.

We were quite close now that I could have leaned in and kissed him.

He smirked and reached his arm out at me and quickly grabbed my waist, pulling me towards the window.

In one swift motion he turned me around so my back was facing the window, and lifted me out of it so I was now sitting in front of him on his broom, my legs dangling over one side.

"George" I yelped.

I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck and leaned against him. He was laughing at me but I couldn't manage a laugh.

I was very comfortable flying a broom but not when both my legs with sitting in such an unusual position and George was flying.

Turning the broom, George flew us around the garden a few times before landing on the concrete patch of ground at the door to the Burrow.

I scrambled off the broom and stumbled backwards into the wall.

"That was—   fun" I muttered. I was surprised, but the adrenaline coursing through my body was an exciting, familiar feeling.

"Ah, we have an adrenaline junkie on our hands do" commented George. "I'll have to let Fred know"

"I'm not sure Fred can get my heart pulsing the same as you" I flirted.

I winked at him mischievously before walking up to his so our bodies were nearly touching and then I whispered-

"He gets my pulse going a lot more than you do"

I didn't wait to see his reaction I just turned around slipped into the Burrow.

I was sure I had left a surprised grin on George's face.

"Morning Y/n, how'd you sleep" came a joyful Molly.

"Wonderful Molly, thank you so much for letting me stay here in Charlie's old room" I thanked her.
