Forever and Always

• The Slytherin Table •

When me and George reached the big front door of the Great Hall we were joined by our friends once more.

"Where did you go" whined Saphire, draping her arm around my shoulder. I couldn't take care of these plonkers by myself. I let out a chuckle.

"We couldn't find you so we just got on the carriages and said we would meet you here," I said apologetically. I followed Fred and Lee who were started to walk inside the Great Hall with Saphire still by my side.

We were making our way to the Griffindor table when I stopped dead in my tracks.
I swung my head around to look at the Slythrin table and started scanning it with my eyes.

"Y/n are you okay?" questioned Harvey as he was about to sit down.

But before anyone could say anything else I broke away from the group and ran over to the Slytherin table.

"ALEENA!!!" I called out a few seconds before I swung my arms around the girl in a tight hug.

"Y/n I'm so happy to see you again it's been too long!" she said while hugging me back.

"It's been two months, can yous two calm down?" Sneered Blaise Zambini, while giving us both evil eyes.

"Just because you're friends aren't excited to see you doesn't mean it's the same for me" she shot back confidently.

I gulped uncomfortably and Aleena caught onto my nerves.

"He's still not talking to you then?" she questioned.

"Nope," I said shaking my head slightly. "He hasn't said a word to me since I broke up with him before the holidays."

"I would be pretty angry if I didn't get to hang out with you either," she said comfortingly.

"Plus look at your boobs, Merlin's beard they've grown haven't they!"

She was blunt about everything and I smiled at her words. Me and Zambini had dated for a few months in our 4th year but he had started to get jealous and aggressive so I cut it off before anything too bad could happen.

He loathed me for it. He had never been broken up with before. He was always the one with the power but I think he hated me for taking it away from him. He continued to tell people it was him who broke up with me.

All of a sudden Zambini stood up and walked over to us. He always towered above me, but he wasn't as tall as the twins so his height never intimidated me.

"You're in my way Wood," he growled "move or I'll hex you."

"Zambini shut up or I'll report you to Snape," came a familiar voice from behind me.

I turned around to see the one and only Draco Malfoy standing behind me.

I furrowed my eyebrows at him and then turned back around to Blaise who was glaring at Draco. "Draco stay out of this," he stated flatly "you know what she done to me."

Draco laughed, "Zambini she Broke. Up. With. You, get over it. You can't go around hating her for the rest of your life."

Draco's words surprised me. He has often said rude comments to most of my friends, but he has never said much to me. He always steered clear of me if he could. That's why it came as a surprise when he decided to stick up for me.

Blaise looked angrier than ever with his fists clenched and jaw locked. With a forceful push he walked past me and over to Pansy who was watching the whole commotion.

From the force Zambini had pushed past I stumbled back a bit. Draco stepped behind me and grabbed my back to steady me. He looked me dead in the eyes but didn't said a word.
