• Fred vs. George •

It had been 2 days since I got the news.

As my mum had suggested, I didn't go to any classes and now it was Saturday so I'd have another 2 days, work free.

I had spent the last few days with George. I stayed with him in his dormitory that night and I left in the morning before anyone saw me. After that George took two days off school too and helped me keep my mind clear.

We took long walks and played hide and seek around the castle. He let me practice jinxes on him which I thoroughly enjoyed. Since he was so tall, the leg locking jinx was always hilarious.

He was absolutely amazing at taking my mind off things but also letting me talk about everything and anything I was thinking. I felt closer to George in the past few days than I ever had before. It's like having your comfort character in a book or movie, except he was my best friend. Sometimes a bit more than friends.

I wish I could stay with him 24/7 as I have been the last few days but I had to be realistic. He didn't seem to want to make our 'situation' public and we weren't even 'official'. That thought always circulated my brain when we were together...did he want to keep 'us' a secret?

I was starting to think we were friends with benefits. Which I am totally okay with. I think. 

It's what George clearly wants and I want him to be happy. Emotionally and physically.

We were currently in his dormitory.

He was sitting on the floor with his back against the wall and his legs out-stretched.
I was on his bed with my legs crossed and Lee was across the room holding a pillow, and laying on his stomach on his bed.

"You too have be awfully close the last few days!" Lee commented nonchalantly.

Me and George met eyes before looking towards Lee.

"Not really-" I shrugged.

"You could say that-" George said at the same time.

Lee started chuckling.

He gave me a side glance with a cheeky smile.

"He's been helping me with a lot recently," I spoke softly, playing with the fabric of George's bed sheet.

"Wait is everything okay?" Lee sounded more concerned now.

"Well it's just- " I startled. I looked at George for support.

"She's just having-" George tried to help but didn't seem to know what to say.

I looked between George and Lee. If I was going to tell Lee, I should tell all my closest friends together.

"Lee will you please get the rest of the gang?" I sighed.

He jumped up off from the bed and headed for the door.

I scurried over to George as he stood up.

"I didn't....I don't know.....what do I say?" I stuttered.

"Y/n calm down angel, you just say the truth, you just say what you're comfortable with okay!"

He tilted my head up with his index finger so I could look him in the eye.

"You'll be fine," he paused. "and I'll be here with you," he said, interlocking our fingers.

I took a deep breath and at the same time, the door shot open and I was faced with a worried looking Saphire.
