Disclaimer: I would just like to point out I started this story when I was 14 years old (I am 17 now) and I wasn't as experienced in writing as I am now so some things may be a little stupid at the beginning and might not get to the point I was trying to make so I apologize :) -Kiley (09-04-2017)

PS: Just a heads up, in the first book I make the main character cry a lot and it's kind of annoying. But, if you just read on you'll find my writing does get better and the second book is much better, in my opinion.

Brianna's POV

Just breath. Everything will be okay.

Iv'e been telling myself that for about a year now... ever since my mother died. She was my best friend. We were so close. It was hard on my whole family but it hit my dad the worst. He hasn't been the same since her death.

Living in that house just brought back so many memories we needed to move. My dad did some research and came upon this little town called Beacon Hills. The ratings were really good so we decided to move here. I didn't know that for sure but I'm gonna take my dad on his word.

There was a knock on my door that pulled me from my thoughts. I look up from my journal at my door as my dad walked in. I smiled at him. "So are you ready of your first day of a new life?" I put my journal down and stood up.

I nodded and grabbed my backpack. He smiled at me and we went outside to the car. As we drove I looked around the town noticing details that were different from my home town.

"Dad you don't have to drive me to school if you just get me a car," I said with a big smile.

"No, I'm gonna drive you to school because you aren't old enough yet to get a car," he laughed.

"I'm 16, a Junior in high school. I know we can afford it so don't say money isn't an option or whatever."

"Yeah well my little girl is growing up so fast I want to spend as much time with her till you're on your own." I just laughed and shook my head at his comment.

Don't get me wrong, I love my dad and I love spending time with him. I would really just like my own car.

The car came to stop. I looked out the window to see my new school. "Okay now if you need anything call me. If you want to leave call me. Just call me or text me sometime. Okay, I love you." My dad said and kissed my cheek.

I laughed and opened the door. "Okay dad, love you too." I said closing the door behind me. I took a deep breath and made my way inside.

I need to find the front office so I can get my schedule and my locker number, but I have no idea where it is. I'm not the one to socialize because I'm really shy. C'mon Brianna just ask some one for help.

I looked around till I found someone that looked nice to approach. I went up to her and tapped her shoulder. She turned around and smiled at me. "Hi um, I'm Brianna and i'm new here and I was wondering if you could maybe point me towards the office?"

"Well Brianna, I'd be happy to take you to the office. I'm Allison by the way." She shut her locker and started to walk away. I followed her.

"So where did you move from?" She asked me nicely.

"Um, South Carolina."

"Really? That's on the other side of the country. Must have been a hassle moving." I just nodded quietly in response.

"Here it is. I don't mind to wait on you if you'd like me to show you to your locker and your first class."

I smiled at her, "That would be great, thanks so much." I opened the door and walked up to the front desk.
