I wait impatiently for Stiles to come back. He ran after Scott a little bit ago after what we had just found.

I can hear them coming back so I stand up. Stiles looks over to me and nods toward the coyote den we had found.

Crouching down, we climb inside of the rocky den.

"It's a coyote den," Stiles explains, flashing the light around so we can see inside.

"Werecoyote," Scott says, earning a confused look from me. I really wish they would explain to me what's going on.

Stiles continues to go in, grabbing a blue jacket from inside. "This," he says, referring to the jacket. "This is Malia's. This is the same one she was wearing in the photo."

Stiles sets the jacket down as Scott grabs a stuffed bear, glancing at the dirt and grime now coating it.

"Maybe we shouldn't be in here," I chimed in. They looked back at me.

This is her home and we're infiltrating it. I know that they're trying to help this girl or coyote or whatever, but we've been grabbing all of her belonging's, getting out scent all over them.

"What do you mean?" Stiles asks me, glancing between Scott and I.

"She's not going to come back now," I say, feeling guilty. "We just invaded her home. Our scent's everywhere."

"Well, if she's not going to come back here then where's she going to go?" Stiles asks looking at me.

"I don't know," I say with a sigh, shrugging.

"Well can you track her now? Do you think you've got her scent?" Stiles asks Scott.

"Maybe," Scott says, unsure of himself.

"I'm better at this when I'm a full wolf. I'm still worried that if I do it, I won't be able to turn back."

Stiles lets out a sigh. "The door's still open."

"If I can't get to Derek, I'm going to have to find someone else to help," Scott explains to us, letting out a sigh.

"This is basically a crime scene, right?" Scott exclaims. "I think it might be a little bit out of my bosses league, but-"

"More of my dad's," Stiles says, catching on to what Scott was implying.

In a matter of minutes, red and blue lights are shinning everywhere as the police begin to search around the area, trying to find any sign of Malia, or in their knowledge, a coyote.

I glance over at the den, watching Sheriff Stilinski step out of it with Malia's blue jacket in hand. He approaches us, an annoyed and worried expression on his face.

"You sure it was her?" he asks us, mostly the question was shot towards Scott and Stiles. I just stood beside Stiles awkwardly.

"I looked her right in the eyes; they glowed just like mine." Scott tells him.

"It makes sense, dad," Stiles says, backing up Scott.

"It wasn't a girl, it was a four legged coyote, right?" Sheriff Stilinski asks with disbelief.

"Well, okay, listen to me. We don't exactly have everything figured out yet..." Stiles begins, trailing off.

"But if it was a full moon and she did change while her mom was driving then anything could have happened." Scott tells him.

"Horrible things could have happened," Stiles cuts in. "Ripping, tearing, shredding things."

"Which is probably what caused the accident," Scott continues.
