That was rude and I know it, but I've been second guessing myself about following him back and I just lashed out, it is true though, it's not like he knows anything about my dance or my classes, but I also know he was just being nice and making conversation.

'Sorry that was rude, thanks for saying that.' I send after a minute or so, he starts to reply straight away.

'It's okay, I deserve it. I know I've no right to be in your life or asking questions, it's just nice to chat to you again. I'm sorry I bombarded you in the park and was so persistent when you clearly wanted to get away. X'

I sigh, "it's okay, was just a bit shocked to see you, it had been a while.'

'I know... nearly two years. X'

'Yep. Time flies I guess.'

"There's so much I want to say about all of that, the whole mess I created but I don't know how to even start. X'

"You don't have to say anything, we're both adults we can move on and not snipe at one another, it's okay. Its in the past.'

Even as I type that I doubt myself, do I really think all my feelings are simply in the past?

'Yeah that's true, maybe we could try to stay in touch? X'

I don't know what to say to that, do I really want to let him back into my life, have I already done that by following him on here and letting him start this whole conversation, part of really does, but another part says no, I'm dating Daniel now, yes it's very early days but is it fair on him. I had feelings for Harry there's no denying that, but technically he isn't really an ex boyfriend.

'Okay.' I find myself replying, 'friends...' I add.

'Friends sounds good to me x'

Thankfully he isn't messaging me constantly, after that initial conversation he doesn't reply until he next day. Now that I know he is following me I suddenly want to post more, as silly as that sounds.

I'm working this morning at the studio, I teach a dancercise class for adults three times a week, it's a really fun way to exercise, I love it.

I'm here early setting up, I glance at myself in the mirrors along the walls, I can't help myself, I grab my phone and snap a boomerang, popping my hip out to the side, I'm wearing one of my new outfits I bought in New York, it's baby pink leggings with cross cross on the ankles and a darker pink sports bra, they're so comfortable I love them.

'Working this morning? X' Harry replied straight away, it makes me a bit giddy, honestly I was hoping he'd reply.

'Yep, I have a class in twenty minutes x' I add an x for the first time in our messages.

'Cool, what do you do in the class? Xx'

'It's a dancercise class, it's like aerobics but all dance based moves, with super cheesy music, it's really good. I've been doing it three times a week for nearly six months now x' I don't add the extra x, yet.

'That sounds fun! Any 1D? Ha! Xx'

'No, none of that, think more Steps and ABBA! Really cheesy. They love it x'

'The greats eh? That sounds fun, can I come sometime? Xx'

'Lol! You sure can! You'll have to sign up before though! There's a limited number of spaces, I can't give preference! X'

'No? Not even for me? Shit, you must be popular. I'll book well in advance then xx'

'Alrighty, let me know. I gotta go, first ones are here! Enjoy your day! X' I send and put my phone into my bag, letting myself smile about the little exchange, but then I focus on my class, letting Harry go to the back of my mind.

The class was so fun, it was packed and everyone had so much energy, I still can't get over how busy and popular my class is, I didn't think anyone would come at the beginning but I've built up so many regulars who come every week, a lot of them to all three classes.

I pack up my things and grab my bag to leave the studio, it's always booked straight after me so I have to be snappy when leaving.

I don't check my phone until I get to the car, I'm excited to see if Harry has replied, he has but Daniel's name is right about too, asking where we're meeting for lunch today, and suddenly I get a massive reality check.

What am I doing?

I text him back straight away and agree to meet at a pub in town, it's still early so I go home and change first, I don't make a big effort though, I just put on some skinny jeans and a thin jumper with some ankle booties. I don't know why but I don't feel like making a big effort, is it bad that I don't even want to think of this as a date?

I haven't enjoyed dating at all lately, but I'm trying.

I meet Daniel outside the pub, he immediately goes in for a kiss but I turn and give him my cheek, not rudely. I just don't feel like we're there yet.

If he's annoyed thankfully he doesn't show it.

We sit down at a table by the window and both pick up a menu, "I'm so hungry." I hum as I set my phone down on the table to look, trying to decide what I'd like to eat.

"Who's that?" I hear Daniel ask me.

"Who?" I ask as I glance up and glance around, thinking he's talking about someone in the pub.

"On your phone, messaging you."

I look at my phone then, Harry has liked the last message I sent after class, telling him it went well and was busy. He's replied saying he's glad and joked about how he can't wait to join in someday, it's definitely flirty, I know it is, but I also don't think Daniel would actually be able to read it.

"Oh, it's an old friend. We've recently reconnected." I tell him.

"Oh yeah? Cool... someone you went to school with?"

"No, but I met him when we were teens, we didn't go to the same school, he lives in England, it's been a few years since I've caught up with him."

"Ah right, that's cool..." I can tell her was digging for information, I don't know if that's a good thing or bad, he's stopped now though, maybe I've put him at ease.

I send Harry a quick laughing emoji back and then put my phone back into bag, it's not very nice to be on your phone when you're with company and I also don't want him looking at my messages again, that was a little weird.
