I sat in silence, wallowing in despair.

Leave him alone for a while, maybe he just needs to be alone.

The elevator doors open up and I am presented with the same cold, dark, and musty basement I had set foot in before.

"Harvey?"

I whispered aloud.

No response.

I walked down to the lockers and peered through the slits.

My heartbeat sped up when I locked eyes with someone inside.

I gasped and stepped back.

"H-hello?"

I said nervously, pressing my hand to the locker.

No response. They were probably too scared to respond.

I opened the locker a bit, and a boy about my age stepped out.

"Your clothes are filthy! What happened to you!?"

I said, shocked.

"I was playing with my sister, when this boy named Jimmy wanted her to follow him. A few minutes later, Jimmy came back to me and said my sister was locked in the basement. I went down to the basement, but I couldn't find her. I was then pushed into this locker and he had locked me in and I couldn't get out. I knew I should've never trusted Jimmy"

He dusted his clothes off and adjusted his cloudy glasses.

"What's your name?"

I said, curious about this poor soul.

"Aaron. Aaron Bell"

Wait. Bell? I just have to know one thing. . .

"Is your sister by any chance Amy Bell? Little 10 year old girl?"

I said.

His eyes lit up and said,

"Yes!! You know her?! Where is she!? Is she okay!?"

I frowned.

"No. She's umm. . .not okay"

Aaron frowned.

"Oh. Well, where is she now?"

I winced and said,

"Well I first saw her down here, but I last saw her laying dead at the bottom of the stairwell"

Aaron gasped.

"What!? How did that happen?!"

Aaron started to tear up.

I told Aaron what Jimmy had done to poor Amy. Giving her the alcohol and cutting her hand off.

Aaron was devastated.

"How can I talk to her? If she really is a ghost now."

He was crying. I felt horrible.

I put my hand on his shoulder to reassure him.

"I saw a ghost box in the First Floor storage room. You should be able to talk to her with that. Once you find it, come back to the basement to talk to her."

He smiled once again.

"Thank you so much! What's your name? I never got it."

I smiled.

"It's Y/n. It was nice to meet you, Aaron"

He waved as he went off into the elevator.

"Oh and Aaron?"
