"piper can we talk?" levs voice interrupted our conversation.
"hmm? oh- sure." she answered quickly.
i watched silently as she got up and followed lev into another room. i heard them quietly talking... and then piper yelling. and lev trying to stop her from yelling.
that was my cue.
i got up from the spot i was in, and snuck out the front door. i hurried over to my bike and rode back to the house.
i opened the door and saw dylan and paige ok the couch watching something on dylan's phone.
i sighed and walked over to them, i plopped down next to paige and pulled out my phone.
"and where were you little miss kaci." dylan asked.
"just went for a quick bike ride." i waved the topic off.
he hummed in response then started talking about what we should do today. apparently we are going out to dinner and spending most of the day on the water.
"sound like a plan, let's go out on the boat now!" paige said.
we agreed and hurried outside. i sat in the front with paige while dylan drove. we got to the middle of the lake and dylan stopped the boat so we could chill.
we took pictures of course.
