"You're hurt," Jace said to me.

I shook my head. "I'm fine."

"Oh, Janice, you're hurt! Jace, help her clean her wound!" Fiona told him. "I'm so sorry, Janice, that this happened."

"I'm okay. And it's okay."

Jace took me upstairs to his room and got the aid kit. We sat down on his bed.

"You have one of those?" I laughed.

"Who doesn't?" he said. "Come here."

I scooted over towards him a little and he applied the medicine.

"What are you going to tell your dad?" he chuckled.

"Why are you doing this?" I ask him.

"Doing what?" He replied, putting the band-aid on my forehead where the wound was.

"Helping me, cleaning my wound-"

He shut me up by kissing me. He kissed me passionately. I grabbed his hair and he picked me up onto his lap.

"Ja- oh.." Fiona said as she opened the door.

I got off of Jace.

"Yeah mom?" He asked.

"Just checking on you.. teenagers," she said "Sorry for interrupting."

She close the door and left.

He grabbed me onto him.
"Not when your mom's home," I told him.

He groaned and I laughed.

-----------------------------

"You.. fell?" Dad exclaimed.

"Yeah," I lied. "I was.. clumsy."

"Alright, but it's midnight. What were- NO."

"We didn't do anything. Besides, his mom was there, obviously. We wouldn't," I told him.

"Alright, you're cleared."

"Thanks."

----------------------------

2 weeks later...

"Aw, come on, this is the perfect opportunity to do it," Jace whined.

"Outside of your house? In your car?" I ask.

"It's been 2 weeks, Janice," he complained.

"And you can wait," I told him.

"That's a record though."

"Alright, but not in here."

"Lessssss go," he said, grabbing my hand.

We went upstairs to him room.

"Jace!" A girl screamed when we opened the door.

She came onto him and hugged him.

"Uhh.. hey Dina.." Jace said to her.

She released him. "You aren't gonna hug me back?" She pouted.

Who is this?

"Uh.. this is Janice," he introduced. "my girlfriend."

She laughed. "Girlfriend?"

"Hello," I said.

"Hi, I'm Dina. Jace's childhood friend," she said.

I just stood there awkwardly.

"Sorry, am I interrupting something?" She asked.

I shook my head. "No, Jace was.. just about to take me home."
