Nia x Kara -i couldnt save her-

No Ones POV: since the day Nia's mother passed away she's blamed herself, it kills her everyday not being able to hear her mum talk to her, and for her help to understand her powers, Kara,Alex,Brainy,Kelly, Jonn and even Lena has been there for her, but it still hurts

Kara let Nia take time off at CatCo and even told her to take time of being a superhero, but Nia needed something to take her mind off the pain she's dealing with, after losing her mum she tries to keep herself busy so she doesn't think, night is the worst she cries till she falls asleep Nia and the rest of the super friends where at the HQ They just got kara back her dad as well Nia looks at Kara who's talking to her dad she looks down Lena walks over to Nia

Lena: u wanna go home take a break? you've been working hard lately

Nia: no no i'm fine

Lena: Nia i-

Nia: Lena i love you and all but please let me be

Lena: o okay sorry

*Nia sighs as Lena walks away sitting back down Kara looks at Nia later on there celebrity Kara coming home Nia is drunk*

Alex: i'm just so happy your back home kara

*Kara smiles*

Kara: so am i glade i get to see you again dad

Jonn: your very lucky kara some people don't get to return with lost loved ones

*Nia looks up as she has a tight grip on her glass*

Kara: yeah

Brainy: Kara? can u cut the cake plz i would like to try it

*Everyone laughs Kara smiles cutting it giving it to Brainy*

Brainy: thank you; also i'm really happy your home

Kara: thanks Brainy

*Kara smiles as they all sit talking*

Alex: Where going back to see mum this weekend Kara

Kara: yeah

*A few minutes pass Nia got up and went for another glass of wine Kara follows Nia*

Kara: hey? how u doing?

Nia: amazing Kara absolutely amazing

Kara: u can talk to me u know

Nia: i'm aware but i'm fine

*Nia goes to walk off kara grabs Nia by the arm*

Kara: your in pain, i understand go take some t..

Nia: don't dare tell me to take time off i swear to god

Kara: i'm trying to help

Nia: NO KARA IF I WERE TO TAKE TIME OFF ID THINK AND CRY I KEEP MYSELF BUSY TO AVOID THAT

*Everyone stops what there sound and looks at Nia and kara*

Kara: i i get that i really do

Nia: bullshit pls go and play happy families im going home i'll see you tomorrow

*Nia walks off going home and lays in bed in the morning Nia goes to CatCo and sits at her desk Kara walks in going straight to Nia*

Nia: k kara i erm i apologies for last night i-

*Kara pulls Nia into a hug Nia feels tears running down her cheek*

Kara; remember you've got me

*Nia nods whiping her tears as they go to the balcony*

Nia: i i couldn't save my mum Kara

Kara: it's not yourself

Nia: but it is though if i just studied like my sister i would have been able to save my mum

Kara: don't do this to yourself Nia

*Nia bursts into tears Kara holding her tightly*

Kara: everything is going to be okay. i promise it gets better as time goes on

*Nia nods and sighs*

Kara: i'm sorry i didn't know how much pain you where in

*Nia looks down Kara whips Nia's tears as the months go on Everything seems to be getting better the pain is still there, she'll always miss her mother but she's got her friends lucky one of them was a therapist*
