no ones POV: it's been a few months now since Kara and Lena got the daughter back Nia never talked about her adopted parents if Kara Or Lena asked about them she'd talk about something else it was like she was uncomfortable to talk about them, it made them worried did something happen
Nia was at her desk at CatCo as Kara walked over putting her hand on her back making her tense up
Kara: u ok?
Nia: huh? oh yea fine
*Nia smiled kara nodded later they went to Kara's apartment*
Kara: Could i ask something?
Nia: ofc
Kara: your adopted parents? why do you get so nervous when we ask about them, why don't you answer the question about them
*that made Nia's heart start pounding with Kara could hear*
Kara: hey ur ok
*Kara rubs Nia's arm*
Nia: t they u used to...
kara: hey it's okay
*Nia rubbed her knee*
Nia: t the used to hit me if i don't anything wrong they'd leave me in a lock room no food no water in the dark...
Kara: i-they did that to you
*Nia nodded quickly it broke Kara's heart as she pulled Nia to her chest*
Kara: i got you your okay now long did it last for? b being locked in the room
Nia: a week
*Kara kissed Nia's heart rubbing her back keeping her close lena comes home*
Lena: ooo a cuddle party...what's wrong?
*Kara looked at Lena as she walked over Kara told Lena with Nia's permission, Lena hugged nia tightly feeling incredibly bad so did kara*
