Chapter 9

Pranit's POV:
Today I was really busy in my work.All my employees were busy preparing the reports, presentations as in the next month we have very important meeting lined up with foreign clients.I was too engrossed in my work but all my concentration got distracted with the voice of loud "thud" of the door.Not again.I sighed and looked up to come face to face to a very furious Sid.

"What happened man?Why are you looking furious?" I asked him.

"When were you going to tell me that you are getting married" he asked look annoyed.

O.. Yeah I completely forgot to tell him.I was so busy lately that I didn't remembered this.

"I was busy ,so I forgot to do so" I plainly replied.

"Really.. Wow... This is called your so called friendship ha, you didn't even informed your best friend that you are getting married" he sarcastically replied.

"Sid you are exaggerating this issue, besides I am getting married because Rajnath Uncle wants so" I truly stated.

"So you mean you don't like the girl and you accepted to get married for Rajnath uncle's wish" he asked.

"Yeah, that's the truth" I said.

He started blabbering"Come on bro, be serious, it's matter of your life... how can you just.... "I interupped him" Sid you know me right,I am really not interested in this relationship and all and anyway that girl is too not interested in marriage and stuff.So it's good.We will stay in my apartment as roommate's and for outside world as husband and wife...... and I don't won't any discussion on this topic now ".

He was looking at me in disbelief but later sighed in defeat as he knows there is no point in discussion.

We than had a small conversation.He told that Rajnath uncle informed him and Tushar Uncle that in the evening we all are meeting her family at one of my restaurant.He left after sometime.

I completed my work and decided to leave for the meeting.Sid said that he will come to my office and we both will go together.Whereas Tushar Uncle and Rajnath Uncle will directly reach the restaurant.But that was the worst decision I took,in the whole car ride Sid was continuously teasing me about his so called Sister in law.I was just controlling my anger.

After sometime we reached the restaurant.All my staff started wishing me and Sid and we made our way to the elevator.We reached on 15th floor, it is the most luxurious floor in the whole hotel as many VIP's come her for dining.

We saw Rajnath uncle, Tushar uncle and Sonakshi's family all of them sitting on one of the dining tables.We made our way towards them.Tushar uncle introduced Sid to all of them.That idiot Sid went near Sonakshi and called her Sister in law.The nerve of this man.I mean she is going to be his Sister in law but I don't believe in this marriage.

We both took our seats.I glanced at Sonakshi when she was talking with Tushar uncle.She was looking beautiful.She wore a simple churidar and her hair were tied in a braid.Even in simple attire she was looking breathtaking.Whenever I got a chance I was looking at her.But I think she noticed it and became uncomfortable.. O.. What am I doing?If I stare at her obviously she will be uncomfortable.So I engrossed myself in the conversation.

Later Mr.Agrawal asked me about my family.I frozed at the question, my face became emotionless.How can I talk about something which I never had.But Rajnath uncle informed them about me being an orphan, so Mr.Agrawal directly changed the topic.That's good, I also didn't want to talk about it.

I declared that I wanted a simple marriage,Mr.Agrawal agreed but he asked sonakshi about her view.I taught she will say that she wants a grand wedding but she approved for a simple wedding.I was shocked but I know I have already cleared to her that this marriage is not going to be true.
