I nod and he disappears into the bathroom. I tried not to take too long in the shower just because I'm sure we'll be busy today. It's not that I wanted to look nice today, persay— but I thought it couldn't hurt to wear a dress. I thought the crown braid would do well in the heat to get my hair off my neck. Makeup was never my kind of thing too. The wedding was the only time I ever really wore makeup apart from light bits of mascara for school events.

My mom always told me that I am a "beautiful young woman" who needs no makeup. Therefore she never taught me how to use it. She herself never wore it either. She always made sure that I was confident in my skin so I can live a happy life where I have no limits. In front of her I believed her for her sake. And some days I did. In general some days are better than others. My mom taught me to respect myself and allow no person's words or opinions to affect me in any way.

She also taught me to wait to eat any meal until the entire party was seated. So following her rule, I use the microwave to warm the breakfast that Alonzo must have ordered to the room. I set plates out with utensils for the two of us. As soon as the food is all ready, Alonzo walks out of the bathroom.

He wears navy blue shorts and a white long sleeve button up. His shirt is thin so I see a hint of his dark tattoos that hide beneath. He is a very handsome man I must say. It appears he cleaned up his already short beard, turning it into stubble.

Alonzo looks at the set table and frowns before smirking. "I thought I told you not to wait for me."

"Where are the manners in that?" I chuckle.

He smiles, looking me up and down before looking at the food on the table. "I wasn't sure what you liked so I just ordered a bunch of stuff." He explains to me.

"I like good 'ol cereal." I joke.

"I can order some if you'd like." He offers kindly.

I laugh that he took me seriously. "No, no this is all good. I'm not picky. Just nothing to do with seafood." I stated, taking a seat at the table.

He raises a brow, sitting across from me. "You don't like seafood?" He questions, beginning to load his plate.

"I'm allergic to most of it." I state.

"Well, that is good to know." He chuckles, taking the mental note. "Any other allergies?"

"Nope." I smile. "Just fish. That I know of." I laugh a little.

"Hmm." He nods his head.

Once his plate is full, I begin to put some food onto mine. I put on some toast, few cuts of bacon and some eggs. I gather all the food into a sandwich and cut it down the middle before I eat it. I look up to meet Alonzo's eyes who is questioning my plate. It makes me not as hungry.

"What?" I ask nervously.

He shakes his head with a smirk. "Nothing."

"No... what is it?" I press, wanting to know.

"It's nothing. I just thought it was cute that you cut your sandwich in half." He chuckles slightly.

I blush at what I assume is a complement. "'Cute'?" I question, hiding my reddening cheeks.

He laughs again at my reaction. "Yeah." He brushes it off and continues to eat his breakfast in silence.

I'm not one to like the silence during a meal. "What's the plan for today?" I ask curiously.

Alonzo puts the back of his hand over his mouth and finishes his chewing before answering my question. "I'm not really sure. Whatever you'd like to do I guess." He states. "The boat will take a day or two for repairs so we'll hangout on land for a while. We are in Greece, I don't know if you've ever been here."

"I can't say I have." I answer. "I don't really know what to do here, so you can plan the day for us."

"I can definitely find some things for us to do." He smiles.

We make subtle conversation about Greece and what we could do for the day. Some options have been sightseeing, walking the villages, or just drive around and see what we find. I want to do it all. Traveling has always been something that I've wanted to do. Now that we are here, I'd like to tour the country, see what it has to offer.

After about twenty minutes, we are all ready to go. I grab a brown sling bag, putting deodorant and hand wipes in it. I also put my wallet inside that Marco handed to me before we left with a card inside as well.

"Ready?" Alonzo asks while I pull the bag over my shoulder.

"Yup. Let's go." I smile. He opens the door for me and we walk down the hall together. We get to a car which is red and topless. "Nice car." I comment.

"Thanks." He responds, opening the passenger door for me. I step inside taking a seat, fiddling with my hands in my lap.

Alonzo rounds the hood and gets into the driver's seat. "First, we'll hit the villages." He tells me.

"Okay!" I say excitedly.

Alonzo puts his one hand on the top of the wheel and the other one on the stick shift. We rip out of the parking lot and the wind blows through my eye lashes, sneaking past my neck.

I look in amazement at the city that passes by. Everything is beautiful. Concrete buildings, wood framed windows, with white sheer curtains blowing out of them. This is truly beautiful. I see parents sitting, watching their children play out on the streets.

I've always wanted a family. I want to grow one in a stable safe environment that I've created for them. My children would call me "mama", and I can sit back and watch them play together. To pair with my family I'd have a loving husband.

The thought makes me look at Alonzo. I can't grow a family willingly with him. With his background and occupation. The contracts I signed before said that I'd have to bare at least one son. Knowing what I know, my son would just turn into Alonzo. A ruthless Mafia leader that isn't even a real human. I know for a fact I have not seen the real Alonzo.

He rules a damn Mafia for goodness sake. I don't want that for my child. I cannot allow my children to have anything to do with any of this. Therefore, I just won't have any in my time here. Not until I am out and free.

"Reagan?" Alonzo coos towards me.

That's when I notice we are parked and Alonzo has opened my door for me. "Yeah, sorry." I step out and he closes my door for me. I thank him and he holds the crook of his arm out for me to take. I take it anyway.

"You alright?" He asks me.

I just nod in response, looking around.

"Don't lie to me." He snaps.

I flinch slightly and pray he didn't notice. "I don't want to talk about it now." I put on a fake smile. "What do we want to do first?" He just shrugs his shoulders.

We just walk for a long while. Looking around the country until we come upon a part of the village which is filled with shops. People have set up pop-up shops for their merchandise. It peaks my interest and I begin to slow down, wanting to look at everything in everystand.
