"I liked seeing you today" Kate hummed, putting down a plate of dinner in front of Buck, "I miss seeing you at work"
Kate sat down, taking a sip of her wine.
"I miss you too, I feel like we barely see each other"
"I'm sure that will change soon, so did we pass?" She asked, a grin on her face
"You know I can't tell you that" he chuckled, biting the food from his fork.
"Worth a shot" she shrugged,
"You'll be happy to know that I'm personally delivering the report tomorrow, so you can see me again"
"I don't know what I miss more, you or you in that uniform" she joked,
Buck gave a short laugh, he shook his head.
"Oh and you know, your need to jump out of buildings and what not" she added
"Hey it was my job" he defended, holding his hands up.
"Yeah, but I don't think the contracted included giving your girlfriend a heart attack as well."
"You know you love it" Buck teased, "besides most times you were jumping with me"
"Hey, I have an excuse. I'm an adrenaline junky wannabe, nothing ever happened that was worth jumping for at home"
Buck grinned "You know for someone who loves where she came from you always have something bad to say"
She gave a shrug "It's what we do, we make fun of our of our own country but no one else is allowed"
"Weird" he mumbled,
"Hey I heard that" Kate glared, hiding a small smile

"Careful, guys. Hall monitor's here." Hen warned.
Kate grinned, giving hen a small nudge. They all followed Bobby, eager to know if they passed or not.
"You guys paint, Why does the place look smaller?"
"I think your head just got bigger."
Kate walked by the small group, wrapping her arm around bucks side, pecking his cheek.
"Awww, Someone missed her boyfriend" chimney teased
"Shut up" Kate rolled her eyes, "so what if I did. It's not like you are any fun" she shot back, causing a few ooh and ahhh from the remaining three.
"Ouch Kate, that one really hurt" chimney held his heart
"So Fire Marshal Buck decides to drop off his report in person. Is that a sign of maturity, Or is it just revenge for all the times I've written you up" Bobby asked, breaking up the bickering.
