Kate dropped one of Evans bags in his room, he didn't travel with much; two duffel bags was all he possessed.

"I really can't thank you enough"

Kate turned to him, "you don't have to. It's gets kinda lonely in this apartment sometimes and now I have company"

"You think it's weird that we live together?" He questioned

Kate shook her head,"No, why would it be"

"What if you or I want to have someone over?"

"Than we bring someone over" she shrugged, a part of her hoping he thread lightly with the statement.

"Alright" he nodded, "this place is nice, I do love it"

"Well now it's your place too, so hang up a picture or put something in the fridge, just do anything that makes you feel home"

"Food in fridge and pictures on the wall, got it" he nodded

Kate stood beside the two Boys, a box perched on her hip; she watched as they decided how to get the couch into the house.

"We could use the jaws of life" Eddie suggested

"You are not breaking her new place"Kate denied for Maddie

"Thank you" Maddie sighed, walking over to them "It has to fit. I measured it twice. Can't you guys just, you know, turn it around the other way?"

"And then the pizza will slide off." Buck pointed

"You have pizza on my new sofa?" Maddie said, wide eyed. She grabbed the three boxes and walked into her house

"You put pizza on her new white sofa" Kate asked, dumbfounded by his logic

"It was on the plastic" he defended

Kate shook her head "you amaze me Buck, you really do"

"Whatever T"

She bit on the inside of her lip, she really wanted to hate that letter but as of lately, the sound of it rolling off his tongue was enough to make her heart skip a few beets

She really tried to push away any growing feelings, after all he was technically still in a relationship and she really didn't want to crush on a coworker.. or her new roommate

"Earth to kate" Eddie waved a hand in front of her face

Kate snapped out of her thoughts, feeling slightly embarrassed "sorry, I was just thinking"

"Of?" Eddie asked

"Obviously of me" Buck jested

Kate shot him a glare "yeah of how much of an idiot you are" she walked by him, if she stayed any long she would fall into another day dream.

Kate dropped the box down on the kitchen counter, she opened it up and began to pack away some plates.

"You want a hand?" Eddie asked
