Ch. 35 "Concern"

                                                  Cody POV 

It has been a few weeks since my little daughter father talk with Tony. I'm still healing from my injuries. 

Lately I've been experiencing these..... Black outs. one moment I am in a room the next moment the entire scene changes. 

My senses. everything changes. it's been throwing me off. 

So I finally Convinced Tony that I could go back to school. if I take it easy a change in atmosphere could do me some good. 

I was currently sitting in class listening to a lecture. 

I was looking down at my notes. when I looked up. the scene crumbled. like something in a horror film. 

Suddenly I'm in that room again. 

I looked around it was just me. My hands gripped the desk. my breathing became shallow and fast. 

I closed my eyes tightly. 

'It's just your mind playing tricks on you' I thought 

Sweat fell down my forehead, I was having a full blown panic attack. 

I blinked a few time. 

'Come on, Wake up, Wake up, Wake up,' I thought 

I opened my eyes. 

Suddenly Devin appeared right in front of my face. 

"This isn't over!" He yelled 

I gasped 

I realized I was back in Class. 

"Everything alright Miss Rory?" The professor said 

I realized everyone was staring. 

"Yeah. I uh. Excuse me." I said grabbing my stuff and rushing out of the class room. 

                                                 Tony POV 

I was sitting in my office listening to Nat and Clint giving me the low down on the maximum security prison we put Devin in. 

Suddenly my phone rang. 

"Hello?" I said 

"Is this Mr Stark?" I hear a unfamiliar voice 

"Speaking how can I help you?" I asked a little confused 

"This is the dean it seems Miss Rory disturbed the lecture in her class and left in a hurry. we are deeply concerned this is not like her at all." He said 

"What?" I said 

"We were wondering if you had any idea what this is regarding?" He said 

"No but I will find out thank you for bringing this to my attention." I said 

"Of course." He said 

I hung up the phone. 

"Everything alright?' Nat said 

"Seems Cody isn't as good as she's been acting to be." I said 

"isn't that always the case." Clint said chuckling 

"She is your daughter after all." Nat said 

I sighed 

"Friday Ping Cody's location." I said 

"Of course sir." Friday said as I walked out of the room.

                                     Cody POV 

I am at the usual spot, where me and Peter normally meet. 

I was laying on my back, I had a blanket laid out as I was laying on it. looking at all the stars. 

I sighed closing my eyes seeing Devin looming over me. 

My eyes shot open. 

And there stood Tony hovering over me. 

He didn't say anything. 

He just simply laid next to me. it was quiet. 

"Mind telling me what's going on?' He said 

I knew it. he knows, he always knows.

I slowly turned my head towards him. 

I sighed 

Then I looked back up at the sky. 

"You know I used to do this all the time with mom. surprisingly I know each and everyone of the constellations" I said looking up

He chuckled 

"You don't say." He said 

I nodded. 

"Stop avoiding the subject," He said 

"How did you find me?" I said still looking up. 

"Wasn't that hard, Just used your watch." He said 

I nodded. 

"Now tell me what's going on." He said 

I sighed. 

Well here goes nothing I thought as I looked at Tony's face and he looked concerned
