"Brother, why do we need to stay at this tree?" Worm!Dream asked Worm!Nightmare.
"It's a tree that makes apples, and that is how we get food." Worm!Nightmare explained to his brother.
"Ohh, and what is that?" Worm!Dream pointed to a strange brownish-black apple, which smells weird.
"It's a completely rotten apple, don't touch or eat it, we don't know what it does. It'll fall soon, and it'll be gone in thin air." Worm!Nightmare warned his brother, as they don't know what's going to happen in the near future will literally change their lives.

Dream didn't know how it got to this.
Their home is on fire, with all their memories burned into ashes.
His brother was no longer the sweet innocent bookworm (quite literally actually-) that he once knew.
Now a worm-like goop creature took his place, and he isn't holding back to fight for the home he once had.
