I got back to Hogsmeade

'Where were you?' Hermione asked

'Draco, he wanted to talk to me.' I sat down

'Bout what?' Harry didn't hold back

'Well, do you really want to details, because I don't think you'll like it' I smirked

'Y'know Slughorn has invited, Harry, Mione and you to his get together. Aka a dinner party' Ron leant forward

'Why?' I ask

'Well..bloody hell, I don't know.' Ron shrugged

We all went out, I did drink my butterbeer. We walked along the snowy pathway when we heard screaming.

'I told her not to touch it!' Leah a girl from Gryffindor, and a friend of Katie Bell.

We saw Katie's body jolt around and fly up into the air, her mouth hanging open like she was being strangled, her arms out. I stared jaw dropped in fear as Katie plummeted to the floor. Lifeless. We went closer and saw a box, that was on the floor. Harry uncovered a beautiful opal necklace.

'Don't touch that!' Hagrid demanded as she picked up Katie and lead her back to Hogwarts. McGonagall wanted to see us aswell.

We walked into a sectioned off room, where Snape and McGonagall looked at the necklace in shock, she turned around and huffed

'Why is it when something happens it is always you four?' She asked

'Believe me Professor, me and Ev have been wondering that for six years. Or in Nora's instance three years' Ron joked

Snape picked up the necklace with his wand to examine it.

'I think Miss Bell, is lucky to be alive' Snape examined

'She was cursed, wasn't she?' Harry exclaimed

'We're not stupid Harry.' I rolled my eyes

'Yes..she was cursed' McGonagall looked at the rotating necklace

'It was Malfoy.' Harry says

We all looked at him

'Harry are you mental? Had to much butterbeer?' I asked

'That's a very serious accusation, Potter' McGonagall turned around as Snape did too

'How would you know Harry, unless you're a Seer.' I crossed my arms

Snape drawls out his bit. Asking him how Harry would know, yes I know he's trying  to cover for Malfoy. Yes I must of known myself he done it.

'You just...know' Snape said suspiciously

We were all dismissed

'Harry are you kidding me! Malfoy?! Why would he curse anyone?' I asked

'He's a deatheater, I'll do anything to prove it' he snapped

'Accusing people of what they're not is wrong Harry. You may be the chosen one but you can be really daft!' I snapped back

'Shut up! I know what I'm doing' Harry told me viciously

'Clearly you don't, you're just obsessed with being right all the time. Give everyone a rest with your bullshit.' I retaliated

'You chose to be apart of this, Evanora.' Harry concluded as he walked off

'Bloody hell..' Ron trailed off

'Give him some time.' Hermione smiled

I walked down a different Hall. I met Malfoy who was against the wall head in his hands.

'Oh Draco...' i cooed sitting next to him

'Help me. I-I can't do this anymore.' He told me

'Shh, it's okay. I'm here' I rested my head on his shoulder. I felt him kiss my forehead.

'Evie. I'm thinking of taking the cowards way out.' He says after a while

I looked at him

'Suicide?!' I said wide eyed

He nodded slowly.

'You don't understand I can't do this. Evanora. I don't know where to turn to, and I will be killed either way. And I will save many lives.' He smiled sadly

'A Malfoy never gives up.' I put my hand on his

'That's something a Gryffindork would say, Pathetic' he joked

'Hey! Do you want my support?!' I asked sarcastically

'But honestly, I can't do it anymore.' He sighed

'But the Unbreakable vow. You can't die, or I'll die. Because then I wouldn't been able to save or protect you from such monstrosity' I looked down at our interlocked hands

'Do you want to live? Evie?' He turned his tear stained face to me

I thought hard.

'I don't know. Never thought about it, but I would like to live.' I smiled

'I wish...I wish I never ever went on the dark side.I only did it for my mum, she means everything to me.' He bowed his head

'Oh honey, Draco, you're not the bad guy. Plus, it's cute you care so deeply for your mum' I snuggled into him

'What would I do without you'

'Die' I joked

We started to talk and laugh at random things. Like how I stuck someone's wand up Kreacher nose, he told me he used to scare Dobby, while playing hide and seek.

It was so fun! Draco and I were amazing.

'You know Harry suspects you' I told him

'I know. I notice how he eyes me. But Potter won't get anywhere close. He has no proof' he spat

'What about you cursing Katie?' I rose my eyebrows

'Katie?! I didn't curse Katie?!' He looked at me weirdly

'If you weren't meant to curse Katie..then who we're you meant to curse?' I asked

He averted his gaze. Fiddling with his rings.

'Tell me, Draco.' I looked at him

'Dumbledore. I have to assassinate him.' He confessed

I was shocked.

'I thought your only task was fixing that weird cabinet! Not assassinate Albus Dumbledore?! Are you crazy you'll go to Azkaban!' I seethed

'I have no choice, my other choice is death!' His voice broke

I sighed

'He must of put you up to this for a reason.'

'No! He put me up to this to, prove myself worthy. And to save my family. We are on the verge of death! He could kill us any moment. I have to do this, Evie. But I don't want to' he hugged me sobbing onto my robes

I comforted him the whole night. Until we fell asleep
