I felt myself get strapped down to the chair dad normally used for his customers hot tears streaming down my face.

I whimpered slightly when I saw my dad lift up the machine used to permanently put ink on people's bodies, eyeing the sharp point of the...... needle.....?

I had no clue what it was called and I didn't care.

I didn't bother to scream when I felt the needle run down my arms, because I knew screaming and squirming would only make the pain worse and dad would be sure to inflict more creative punishments on me.

This certainly wasn't the first time, and I was a 100 percent sure it wouldn't be the last.

He smiled at me, acting like he wasn't dragging a needle down my skin.

"Hold still for daddy princess! You'll have to clean this all up when we're done okay?"

He glared at me as I let out a small scream, and pulled my hair when I accidentally moved.

"Remember you'll always be daddy's little princess. hush now don't scream!"

*******

I woke up drenched in sweat, my tank top and shorts clinging uncomfortably to my body.

I didn't realize I was screaming until my caretaker, Lynn, burst through my room doors, her bouncy red hair moving about.

She visibly relaxed when she saw me.

"Vy dear is everything okay?"  she asked worriedly, though she probably knew the answer because I'd been living with her for the past month or so.

I hated to lie to her every time she asked because she always seemed genuinely concerned about me.

But she didn't need to know, besides, after today I'd probably never see her again.

I flashed her a small smile and lifted the duvet to cover my upper body.

"Don't worry Lynn, its just the usual nightmares. Everything's fine I promise."

She looked at me unconvinced and sighed. I knew she could tell I was lying.

I also knew she realized that after the first three nights I spent with her, waking up screaming every morning that I wasn't going to tell her anything.

That didn't stop her from trying though.

She flashed me a sad smile.

"Breakfast is ready, and your ride will be here in half an hour." I nodded in response and she left, closing my room door.

I sighed, running my fingers through my pitch black hair.  I threw the duvet off my body, and basically crawled to the bathroom at the side of the room.

I took a shower, washed my hair and stood in front of my closet, silently debating on what to wear.

I looked over at my kitty, Otrov.
Weird name, I know.

But I personally called her Viv weird name too, I know.

She sat on the edge of my bed and looked up at me with her sparkling green eyes.

"What do you think I should wear girl? The black sweater or the white one?" She mewed at me and licked her raven black fur.

I nodded at her. "You know what, one colour is boring anyway. I'll take the striped one."

I grabbed a black skirt that stopped midthigh , put on a pair of black and white high tops with matching coloured socks.

All in all, by the time I was done, I looked like a walking black and white aesthetic.
