The day Rhaena arrived to Dragonstone was the day she felt a calling to her grow stronger, she didn't know what it was, but she felt it. The first night, Rhaena heard the calling, it was much louder. It made her not able to sleep. She wanted to tell her mother, but she didn't want to cause any stress to her mother because she already had so much on her plate. So one night just like her dream she walked around Dragonstone she didn't know where to she just walked aimlessly until she heard it the dragon's roar, then she saw him The Cannibal she knew it was him because she saw the bones of others dragons underneath him as he laid there.
The Cannibal was beautiful to her, he was as black as coal and had emerald green eyes, he was the largest dragon she has ever seen. She walked toward him, It's as if he was calling for her and her body lead her right to him and just like her dream he looked towards her and started to approach her he bowed his head towards her as she reached her hand out towards him Rhaena wasn't scared because she knew that he called for her. He chose her as his rider. Rhaena then spoke in High Valyrian
Rytsas, istia've issare sīr lonely bona emā brōztagon syt nyke ( Hello, you must've been so lonely that you have called for me) she smiled in contentment as the Cannibal rubbed his head on her hand she then said again
Emā chosen nyke hae aōha kipagīros, se kessa sagon iā rōvēgrie rigle, ñuha raqiros (You have chosen me as your rider, and it will be a great honor, my friend. ) As she said this the cannibal bowed his wing allowing her to climb onto him, and she said in high valyrian
Sōvegon Cannibal (Fly Cannibal) when the Cannibal took off Rhaena felt the bond strengthen, It's as if his soul was becoming one with hers. Rhaena had full control over him, maybe it because he understood that she didn't want to claim him and change him, she wanted him to be himself and as his rider she had no right to take that from him. When Rhaena landed back on Dragon stone, she saw her mother and her father waiting for her. They looked worried sick. Rhaenyra was pacing around and Laenor was sitting infront of the fireplace just looking at the flames. The first person to notice her was her mother, When Rhaenyra saw Rhaena she ran towards her with tears in her eyes. Rhaena then hugged her mother back she knew her mom was worried, and she understood why, her mother then spoke and said
" You've claimed the most ruthless dragon in Westeros, I'm so proud of you Rhaena" Rhaena knew her mother would be proud of her, Her father then asked
" How did you find him, the Cannibal" Rhaena looked at her father with an unreadable expression and said
" I didn't claim him, he claimed me, he called out to me in my dreams" when Rhaena said those words Rhaeynra looked towards Laenor and looked back at Rhaena and whispered to herself in realization
" A dreamer"
A/N:
Yeah, I made her a dreamer and what about it theheheee but Rhaena doesn't always dream of things that are about to happen like Helaena her dreams are mostly in symbols she sees things involving Dragons mostly. I made The Cannibal bigger than Vhagar because I was trying to find out his exact size, but I couldn't .some people say that he is in fact larger than Vhagar and Balerion, but I didn't want him to be bigger than Balerion, so I imagine him larger than Vhagar but almost as large as Balerion.
