Aizawa couldn't help but blame himself. He sent her out, (Y/N) only wanting to complete the task given at any cost. If he knew how far she would go.... The man touched the girl's hand gently. The child had her arms wrapped in gauze and stitched close, their legs being in the same situation but covered by the light blue blanket. A breathing mask rested over her mouth and nose, the girl's mouth being notably bruised, but it wasn't swollen.

It had been a week and a half since the incident. Nighteye passed, Midoriya recovered, Mirio was recovering, and Eri was safe. This was all possible because of (Y/N) and Midoriya's hard work. Nobody besides Aizawa and Midoriya visited, however. The family the girl had left never came by.

The dark sky outside and the dark bags under Aizawa's eyes signaled to him he had to go. With one light squeeze of the girl's hand, he stood up and started to leave. The lights in the room were off and the door was closed. His footsteps clicked, there was no other noise besides the heart monitor.

"D-daddy?" The small, almost inaudible tone of the sick girl made him look back. (E/C) stared back at him, confusion and drowsiness lacing them. Aizawa wasn't her father, but that's not what the girl saw. Her brain was so muddled with confusion and memories that were nearly forgotten that she saw Aizawa as her father.

"(Y/N)." The man responded back, surprised. The girl tried to sit up, but her limbs weren't cooperating.

"Wh-where am I?" The girl asked, dazed. Aizawa sat back down next to her. "My head h-hurts." Aizawa just touched her hand again, a calm silence spreading between the two. There were no words, just the faint beeping of the heart monitor. The girl's eyes fluttered slightly, before closing again. She couldn't even stay up.

"Goodnight." Aizawa whispered, looking down and pulling his hand away.

"Aizawa." The voice of (Y/N)'s doctor rang out. "Since you're her caregiver, I have news to tell you. Please follow me."  Aizawa nodded, following the doctor as he left the little girl in solitude. "This incident has sparked interest in how (L/N)'s quirk actually works. I've come to explain what we've found." The man led him into a secluded room with a desk, there were charts all along the wall. "Please sit." Aizawa did so, looking at the charts.

"You've been busy," Aizawa said, looking at the paperwork all littered along his desk. A nameplate also rested on the desk, 'Ryoji'. The doctor didn't seem phased by the words, just took a deep breath.

"We wanted to be absolute in our assessments." The man stated. "Each one of these pictures are (L/N)'s brain activity. We can see the pulses and their movements." The man took a pen out of his jacket pocket and pointed towards a duller color point. At that exact area, it was lighter. The surrounding area was a bright blue. "This was day one. The damage sustained to her brain was immense. An estimated time for her life was two weeks." The man clicked his pen. "This was two days later." He pointed to the same spot, except this time, it was brighter. "Recovery for something this extreme is unheard of, yet, it's healing. This brought the question of how her quirk actually functions." Aizawa was silent, looking at the maps. "What we found is that her quirk uses the brain's own electricity and uses it like a radio wave. Normally, the human brain produces a small amount of electricity to communicate, but (L/N)'s is more powerful."

"So, she kills part of her own brain to use her quirk?" Aizawa asked, trying to be sure.

"Yes." Ryoji replied. "The electricity cuts off parts of her own brain, transmitting these waves elsewhere. It's almost like a radio tower. It can receive signals back, similar to how a person plays the radio in their car. Except, it's other people's thoughts coming back to her. This may be the cause of her headaches. Litteral pieces of her brain are dying."

"What about the telekinesis?" Aizawa asked.

"Same thing, but the waves are stronger. It uses more electricity, killing more of her brain than reading thoughts. They vibrate through the earth, causing tremors. The power all depends on how much electricity is actually dispersed from her own brain." Ryoji continued.

"So, she's had brain trauma her whole life..." Aizawa looked down. The small girl was slowly killing herself all along.

"Not quite." The doctor continued. "Yes, there are signs of trauma in her past. However, that doesn't explain how it healed." The man pointed towards the map again. "The connection was severed, she should never have been able to use that part again. Yet, it's coming back to life. By diverting electricity to a different point, then 'overcharging' that area again, it's brought back. The entire process is humanly impossible."

"It's a part of her quirk then." Aizawa continued.

"That's the thing, it's not." Ryoji stated, turning back to Aizawa. "It would be an easy explanation as to why this happens, but it doesn't explain one important detail. Why would All for One not take her quirk? If he could repair his own brain trauma by using it, then why not? Why would he give it back?" Aizawa was silent. "No, this is a trait that (L/N) has on her own. It's not part of her quirk at all. The girl is essentially superhuman all by herself, even if she was born quirkless." Ryoji sat down at his desk. "Her brain is far more advanced than any normal person's. All for One couldn't use her quirk. It would've killed him within a day. (L/N)'s quirk is only built for her. Anybody else that could have tried to use it would've died."

Aina couldn't believe her eyes. Her mother thought she could just weasel her way into (Y/N)'s life when it was about to end. The woman had a sadistic smile on her face, staring at her only daughter. Aina's eyes twitched. She never told (F/N) what his own mother did. Only she knew...

"Ah, if it isn't the most useless of my offspring." The woman said, sneering. "I thought you would've been too busy drinking the rest of your cash away."

"I thought you would've been too busy being an old hag that has no one left that loves her." Aina also replied, ignoring the fact that they were right outside a hospital. "Honestly, I thought you jumped in your grave already. Not that I would have noticed."

"Good to see you still have your bite." The older woman glared. "Alas, your favorite saying, 'nobody will visit you at your grave', seems to have turned on you. (Y/N), the monstrous child will die, leaving you all alone."

"I should kill you right now." Aina took a step forward. The older woman didn't budge.

"Not a good idea." The woman said, pointing towards the cameras. "Besides, my chances of survival have increased. After all, we are next to a hospital." Aina just started walking, bumping into the woman's shoulder as she passed. The older woman sighed, following behind her. However, (F/N) was watching the entire scene. His eyes held a cold stare as he watched his mother walk into the building. He knew full well what she did. Nobody had to tell him. Now that he branded Overhaul with his message, he'd do it to her too.
____________
"What a sorry sight...." (F/N) leaned down, his gradient scarf blowing in the wind. He had a baseball cap on as he observed Overhaul, aka Kai Chisaki. The man had a pained expression, his arms being cut off an hour or so prior.

"Who are you?" Kai asked as the father reached into his pocket.

"You know my daughter? The girl you hurt?" The man took out a lighter. "She's severely injured because of you. May not live past tomorrow." He then started to flick it on, before pulling out a piece of metal. Kai was silent, so (F/N) kept talking. "I have her back, now you and your idiotic plan will take her away from me." The metal was soon put under the flame, heating it up. "Got any idea how that feels?"

Kai didn't respond. Everything that had happened was sinking into his mind. It didn't matter that a girl's father wanted revenge. It didn't matter that his arms were cut off. Everything was ruined and will never come back.

"Seems you don't care." (F/N) observed. "I can't just make you care, but I do know something." He placed down the heated metal onto the man's neck, Kai gasping in pain. "Her name will be taken to your grave." He lifted it, the metal burning in (Y/N)'s name. "So, you can't forget, even in death."
