This old completed arshi ff, I think it was posted in Indiaforums, but I don't remember much. Khushi is the daughter of Shashi and Garima, Shashi in order to become a politician left his wife Garima and their infant to marry someone wealthy. Anjali is his daughter from his second marriage. In this ff Anjali is a negative character and is very arrogant, later it's revealed that she's an illegitimate daughter of her mother (from another affair), not Shashi's biological daughter. There is a scene in which Khushi visits Shashi when he is sick and admitted to the hospital without knowing that she's actually his daughter, but Shashi seems to know. She feels a connection with him and brings home-cooked food for him.
