The next day, Ochako arrived back at the ambassador's office. She had several things sitting on a nearby table, and Taishi was typing away on her computer. She only stopped once she approached the desk she was sitting at. Without looking up, she asked, "How was your day yesterday?"

Ochako stretched slightly. "Relaxing. I think I'm ready to go."

The bluette nodded, but asked, "Are you sure about this? Is there no other way?"
"Not at the moment," Izuku responded for her.

Disappointment was clear in her voice. "I see... fortunately, I have found a far more spacious mode of transportation."

"Really?" They both wanted more details.
However, Taishi did not want to spoil the surprise. "Yes. I will have Sergeant Matthews demonstrate for you after this meeting. First, though, on the table, are the things we discussed yesterday. A debit card linked to an offshore account, unable to be tampered with by the Chinese government. And linked to you specifically, by name." Ochako picked up the black, gold and red card, looking over it carefully. It had the old style of Japanese flag, with a red sun and sunbeams streaking from it on the black backdrop, with meticulous gold lettering. It was distinct.

"Next to that is your jacket. It's aerodynamic, lightweight, and is designed for wing quirks. You'll be able to fly, no problem. There is also a pair of leather, touchscreen compatible gloves, long pants, and hiking shoes, which I presume you'll need, due to the... well, lack of anyone there. Matthews will take you to the garage after you put on the outfit."

It was color coordinated, with pink, green, and black as the main colors. Taking everything off the table, she bowed to the ambassador. "Thank you for all your help."
"No problem. One final thing... If you wish to keep your things here... I will hold onto them for you until you return. I just hope you find what you're looking for. Good luck."

Ochako then turned and left the room.

After getting changed, she left the other stuff she couldn't take there. Matthews had waited outside her room for her, leading her to the garage, where she found... a four wheeled vehicle with handlebars and a small frame. "What is..."
"This is an All Terrain Vehicle, or ATV for short. It's very simple to operate. Instead of pedals like in most cars, there are levers on the handlebars. Right is for the gas, and left is a brake. These can work on both roads and more difficult terrain... but it's limited by the gas tank. If you need to you can leave it behind, but it takes normal unleaded gas you can find nearly anywhere."

"This... will be much better." Ochako said as she thought about it. "I don't have to worry about my wings with this..."

"Well," He interrupted, "You should still keep them as close to you as possible... but yeah. You won't."

Getting onto it, Ochako familiarized herself with the dials and controls. Gas Gauge... speedometer... I think I'm all good.

Turning to him, she said, "Thanks."
He threw her the keys. "No problem. You know where you're going?"
Catching them, she confirmed her plan. "Yeah, I checked my map beforehand."
He nodded. "Good." He gestured to another security guard, who pressed the button in order to open the garage door. "I'll let them know to let you out. Just be careful. Things aren't as nice as they are in here."

"I'll be careful." She promised. It was then that he handed her a helmet. She accepted and put it on, putting the visor down. Revving the ATV, it jerked forward, but after getting used to it, smoothly pulled out and started down the road.

Sebastian followed Ochako from the sky, watching as she carefully navigated Shanghai. It was a maze, but eventually she got to the highway and out of the city.

When she stops, you should tell her.

Yeah, yeah...

Why resist?

Because she doesn't need to be burdened with my problems.

We don't know what she'll encounter, but our past will effect her. No matter how much you want to dismiss that fact.

Fine...

He settled into the wind current, soaring for the next few hours as she travelled...

Ochako pulled over to a gas station, up to a pump, checked the prices after turning it off. However... her first true barrier revealed itself. The language barrier. There were no signs in Japanese. Just as she was worried, Sebastian landed next to her, and said, "It's the middle one."
"What?" She turned, and saw him looking at the signage. "How can you tell?"
"Fun fact about being dead." He said, "You can understand all languages, because you don't have biological limitations to hold you back. Use the yellow pump."
"Right... thanks." Grabbing it, she walked over to where the gas tank was, and opened it up. While filling the tank, Sebastian sat on the vehicle. "I admit... I haven't told you everything. You... remember that plague I mentioned?"

"Yeah?"
"Well, my girlfriend... god it's weird to say that when you're dead. Deliah got sick. Really sick. And it was directly because of Viraleur. So if I'm not my usual charming self... that's why."

That admission surprised her. "Really?"
"Yeah, well, when you're dead, it's really easy to hold a grudge. I wish I could learn from Aunt Katrina how to become chill, but there are some things I just can't."

"That's fair. Izuku still hates Bakugo. There are some lines you just don't cross."

Sebastian smiled after hearing that. "Good to know I'm not unreasonable. Sabrina was concerned..."
His attitude changed, indicating that she was there, "No I wasn't! Let me talk!"

Ochako looked around, realizing the gas was finished, and she had to pay. "I'll listen when we get to Hefei. We can get a hotel and rest for the next day. Okay?"
"That's good enough." Sabrina said, before he took back control. "I thought we agreed to not do that?!"

She snapped back, "She doesn't quite appreciate your struggle. Lady Death knew how difficult this would be for you..."He didn't respond, only watching her speak to the man, who knew rough Japanese. He did price gouge her, but she, fortunately, had the black card to rely on. Pulling away, they raced towards their destination, the city of Hefei...
