Cruising to the Gates of Hell

That evening, they approached the cruise ship. It was massive, one of the largest Ochako had ever seen... granted, this was the only cruise liner either of them had witnessed.

However, with this plan... there was one major problem. She didn't have a ticket, and they didn't think that they would sell them. "So..."

"I have a ticket for myself... it's how I... got... here..." Katrina responded, before turning to them. "I can... buy one..."
However, Ochako naturally didn't want to be in debt to her, no matter how nice she was. "I can pay."
The demoness sighed, her voice still sounding just as tired as she was earlier. "No... when in... Hell... you need to be... less reliant... on money..." She sighed, "My... brother... is greed. If you... continue to fret over... something so... inconsequential... then you will never... make it."

Approaching the ramp to board the vessel, crew welcomed the demoness aboard, having seen her ticket, but started to refuse entry to Ochako and Izuku. "You aren't a customer..."
"Oh, let them... through. I'll pay... for them..." Katrina smiled at them, showing her own credit card. Hesitating, the oldest, and most senior member of the crew protested, "Madam, there isn't any room..."
"Don't worry... I can share... my room. She's a dear... friend..." Smiling, the crew had no further refusals, so let her pay for the extra ticket. Gesturing behind her lazily, she called, "Follow me... Ochako..."

The brunette did nothing but comply.

Their room was in a single word: Luxurious. It was massive, with a bed that could accommodate wings, draped in lovely and soft fabrics. It felt like Momo's entire budget was spent on a room. Stopping the poor brunette from fainting, Izuku took control as he turned back to the former Duchess of Hell. "So... Um..." He found it difficult to look anywhere but her eyes... but her eyes made him... incredibly weak. So he focused on her bright red hair. It flowed and twisted as if cascading from her head. Dreamlike, in a way.

"Yes...?" She was amused by his inability to properly speak to her.

"Is this really the best way to get there...?"

She yawned, almost making him fall asleep at the same time. "Best...? No, you mean fastest... to that, No... but... you need to relax... your body is... resilient... even if your soul... isn't... you can afford... to take it easy." She smiled. "We... will arrive in..." Placing her right index finger on her chin, the demoness paused, before answering, "...7 days."

A week aboard an extremely high class cruise ship? Who could refuse that?

That night, she wandered the upper deck. Most of the passengers were at the restaurants and attractions, very few were outside. She found herself looking up at the stars. Ochako whispered to herself, "If Life and Death are real... is there more up there?"

"Indeed." It was Katrina. She had decided to follow them, and her presence was enough to spook them.

Izuku spoke before Ochako could. "Pl-please don't sneak up like that."
She laughed, "Sorry..." before looking up at the stars like them. "There's Light and Dark... You'll be seeing their... daughters soon enough."

Now that was important. "Light... and Dark? As in..."

"Yes, Izuku..." She responded, "As in the actual physical concept of Light and Dark... Lux lives with the Angels, her power the reason for their marriage, while father married the daughter of Dark, Tenebris. They are who... you are really asking. Not father. Not Solverne. Them. If you convince them... then you will be alright. They shackled... themselves... to that power, and you... will not."
