i wish erasing memories comes as easy as washing dirt off our clothes,
maybe then, i could sleep and forget about the bad things the minute my eyes closed.
i wish brain bleach existed,
so i could start all over whenever I wish it.
i wish selective amnesia allows us to pick,
so that I can choose what to remember
and which impressions should stick.
i wish brainwashing was literal in essence,
so i can undo what isn't good, forget what is hurtful,
and finally make my chaotic thoughts make sense.
