For the past few days Jayson has been avoiding Peyton, he still felt a mix of jealousy and anger, she had ignored all his calls when he needed her the most just to spend time with Lucas
She also had gotten a call that they had found a body and that she had to go see if it was her dad, she didn't wanna go alone but instead of asking Jayson she went to Lucas, they spent the night together at a motel while Jayson stayed alone keeping all his emotions in
After that one night when he stayed at Brooke's house he didn't wanna bother her to much so he stayed in his car till Keith found him and asked him to stay with him
"Wake up" Keith knocked on the guest bedroom door "breakfast is on the table" Jayson groaned turning to his side
"What?" He mumbled in his sheets
"You're gonna be late for school" he walked out the room
Jayson sighed sitting up, he put on a plain white shirt, grey sweats and a grey hoodie, he ran down the stairs and stopped seeing a plate with eggs and bacon on the counter
"What?" Keith chuckled looking at the surprised teenager "you're acting like you've never seen food before"
"Well I-I never woke up to a breakfast before" he smiled walking up to the counter "at least not since I was 5"
"Then enjoy" Keith handed him the plate "but hurry, you're gonna be late"

Jayson walked through the hallway with his hood on towards his next class but he was caught in his tracks noticing Lucas and Peyton talking in front of the trophy case
He could see the tension between them, they were a little to close for just friends, they were talking way more then Jayson and Peyton were
He turned around walking out the school not knowing they were doing a lot more then talk
"Hey you" Haley walked up beside Jayson who kept walking "Jay slow down" she grabbed his arm turning himself round
"What Haley" He said in a harsh tone
"Jay" she took a small step back
"I-I'm sorry Hales" his voice soften "I can't talk right now" he turned back around starting to walk away
"Hey" she grabbed his arm turning him around in a fast motion making his hood fall off "w-god" her mouth slightly dropped
"H-
"He did that to you?" She put her hands on his face tracing over his black eye and cuts "I swear to God when I see him I'l-
"Hales" he interrupted making her take a deep breath
"I'm sorry you have to go through this" she wrapped her arm with his "he doesn't see how lucky he is to have you as his son"
Jayson smiled, Haley was one of the first people to ever see him and all his accomplishments instead of all his failure
