"Hey you" Jayson patted Haley's back and sat next to her on the picnic table outside of the school
"Hey" Haley sighed
"Wow" Jayson widened his eyes "what's up with you?" He chuckled
"I'm sorry" she turned to him completely "I'm just having second thoughts about the whole playing at the club tonight"
"What? Why?"
"I don't know I'm just nervous I guess"
"Well the Haley James Scott I know never backs down" he said nudging her a little and making her smile "you will do great Hales, I know it, Nathan knows it and you know it"
"Thanks Jay" she smiled again
"Isn't that was friends are for?"
"Where were you anyway?" She asked "didn't see you at school yesterday and when I came over you weren't there"
"Just took some time to myself" he shrugged
"That's good"
"Well I got to go to class" he gave her a quick hug and stood up "later Hales" he walked away

Jayson was driving up to the club of the opening night, he was wearing some black jeans with a black button up shirt
He parked in front of the building and got out the car, he stared at the giant line that came from the parking lot to the top of the stairs
"Good job Peyton" He whispered to himself with a proud smile, he walked up to the stairs and walked passed the line
"Hey you can't just skip the line" some guy yelled
"Well I am" Jayson replied still walking up the stairs "hey Junk"
"What's up man" he smiled "here, the under 21 band" he put up a wrist band
"Come on dude" Jayson laughed "let me get the over 21"
"Um" he raised an eyebrow "no" he held up the band again
"Junk we've been friends for how long?"
He took a breath and shook his head "I can't Jayson, take it or leave it" he held it up, Jayson sighed and put his wrist up "get in there"
Jayson was about to walk in when he remembered he forgot his phone in his car "I'll be right back" I ran down the stairs
After grabbing his phone he went back up to be met by Brooke sitting on the edge of the stairs over the parking lot
"Hey B" he grabbed her attention
"Hey Handsome" she smiled drunkenly, he sat beside her and squinted looking at her "what?"
