Brothers

"I've gotta say good call Nate" Lucas threw his bag in the back of the car "road-tripping to Charlotte"

"You gotta live that NBA expansion" Nathan threw his bag in the trunk "third row, floor, right behind the bench"

"Are you guys sure I should be coming" Jayson put his bag in the trunk "this feels more like a brother's trip"

"Well it is" Nathan shrugged "because you are also our brother" he patted Jayson's back before closing the trunk door

The three boys were prepping the car for the trip when Brooke and Haley came over "it's another mechanic stripper" Brooke looked toward Lucas

"No" Haley sighed "just Lucas"

"Okay I guess we're off" Nathan announced

"All right, go! Whoever they are!" Haley cheered walking towards Nathan

"Bobcats Haley" Nathan shook his head as the couple hugged

"All right, I love bobcats they're so cute" Haley smiled up at him

"You're such a girl" he smiled

"I know" she smiled wider as they kissed

"Can we go now?" Jayson asked blocking the sun from his eyes "you saw her, she's back, let's go"

"Come on man, look, this is the first night we'll spend apart since we got married" Nathan looked down at Haley while Jayson, Lucas and Brooke stood there awkwardly

"The girls are having a slumber party" Brooke told the two boys

"Really?" Lucas turned to her

"Cool" Jayson mumbled

"So that means you won't be alone tonight, what are you doing till then?" Nathan asked Haley

"Ah um probably just gonna hang out with Brooke" Haley said not too sure of herself "right Brooke?"

"Yeah, just us girls" Brooke replied, Jayson glared at Haley and down to Brooke with a raised eyebrow

"This car runs great man" Nathan turned to Lucas who was sat in the front seat while Jayson was in the back with his headphones on with his eyes closed

"Yeah not bad right?" Lucas smiled

"The best part is, Dan had nothing to do with it" Nathan said making Lucas chuckle "we do need to replace this lace deck though

"Yeah definitely" Lucas nodded before going through his bag "but for now, I got my trusty iPod and cassette adapter" he held them up

"Nice fire it up" he put the tape in and played it but no music started playing

"It's stuck" Lucas kept tapping the play button

"What?" Nathan furrowed his eyebrows "are you telling me you didn't check the stereo before we left"

"It was Jayson's job" he defended himself "plus I was busy working on the engine" he pressed the play button again and finally something started playing

The best was chill and the lyrics were just a guy repeating the word 'Holiday' over and over again

"What is this?" Nathan asked as the two sat confused

"I have no idea"

The boys walk down the stands trying to find their seats, they made it and sat down while the team's dance team was dancing
